It was interesting to see his post match interview, he was completely shell shocked, couldn’t explain where things went wrong. He’s been unlucky with key injuries at key times as well, losing White and Saka who both played carrying knocks was unlucky. Still, I’d rather see Spurs than Arsenal in the CL. Without key signings, and a few of those need to be experienced players, they’d embarrass themselves in the CL next season.

I think both Arsenal and Tottenham will be much stronger next season. Saliba and a new full back will bring depth to their defence and they will likely sign a very good CM and CF

Spurs will confirm the signing of Romero and Kulusevski first so they won’t have as much money in the market as we think, unless they sell. It looks like Hojberg could be on the way out but I’m not sure they can afford to let many others go unless they’re going to do a like for like one in and one out. Paratici will stick to the Italian market as it’s what he knows best.
Don’t think Arteta fancies Saliba regardless of how well he’s done this year in Marseille. If that’s the case, we could do a lot worse than try to get him.

In fact Pep’s team selections, formations and substitutions are as bad as Ole’s 😂😂. Lucky he’s had the best players everywhere he’s been.

Absolutely JM, its a small consolation while we survey the wreckage of our own diabolical season.
A pool quadruple would have put the tin hat on the season.
I still think Liverpool are better than the other single Premier league winners of Blackburn and Leicester…..🤪

jm, so seeing as Liverpool ‘did not win’ (we did) either the League Cup and FA Cup I guess we can all say United ‘didn’t win’ the Champions League in 2008 then (or does that not count)?

I ask because the FA Cup and League is listed in our honours and likewise yours with the CL win. Curious.

You can say whatever the fuck you want Rob, I’m not that bothered mate. But just make sure you dock the Istanbul farce as well mate. Draws are so unsatisfactory don’t you think?

jm, not really, at the elite level one cannot always expect to win a game over 90/120 mins. You do what you absolutely can, whether it goes to penalties or not, to win the damn thing regardless of how long or how you win it. It’s all about winning it.
