Im not sure how I feel about this but there was a point in the season where watching Chelsea became a real chore due to the state of the football and then from Sarri’s perspective a point where chaos developed amongst fans and within the dressing room due to his decisions.

If Sarri wants to leave and Italy is more comfortable to him and his family and he has a good offer from Juve we need as a Club to just agree and get on with it.

Personally I would go for Allegri as his replacement I still think it’s too soon for Frank but we’ll see.

tough choices lay ahead while Allegri is an excellent choice I have doubts whether he will embrace our youth who have earned more than a chance. Our older players are fading a bit plus theres a transfer ban so will he even come?

Massive own goal this coming up.

    there is no plan B.

Fans have hounded Sarri out over the course of the season.

slow hand clap for those who chanted **** Sarriball…

The only candidate imo, Steve Holland, as this is a job that requires the club to continue its playing staff transition towards home grown talent.

I dread Allegri being appointed as we will revert to default CFC football, counter attack and I suspect youth will be shown the door in favour of experience.

9’s… paper over it how you want, Sarri looks like he’s off. There are two major reasons for that, fans and fans… but mainly the fans who lorded it up when we were on an unbeaten run, and who turned within a few games when it went wrong rather than being supportive. Our form dipped for about six weeks.

What should have been viewed as a transition season into next becomes another transition year into another team style. All rival squads will strengthen. The club needs continuity and is getting more transition.

The Champions league qualifications via third place and European cup should have been enough but wasn’t for our fans who undermined the manager at a vital time in the season.

If he does leave, Thank you for a wonderful European cup winning season and a job very well done Mr Sarri. Hope we dont draw Juve in the CL. What is it Juve see in Sarri to dispose of a man who has won the league 5 seasons on the bounce? Probably the same CFC saw when appointing him to change the ethos of the club. Thats where I shall leave this.

Guys my comment at the top the page sums it up.

Sarri decisions rubbed fans and players the wrong way at various points in the season.

He did a great job in delivering the Europa League but in the premier league he achieved his goal via the other teams gifting it to him, remember we somehow floated into 3rd by getting poor results and the other teams getting worse results no one expected

Roman, I’m not papering over anything!

Sarri has two years left on his contract if the owner and the Board wanted Sarri to stay they could tell him he’s staying and turn down any approaches from Juve.

Fans don’t get rid of Managers Owners and the Board of Directors do!

The truth is all the issues aside and there were quite a few we stumbled to 3rd place thanks to the collapses of Spurs, Arsenal and United and managed to win the EL but it took penalties against Eintracht which could have gone either way and the EL doesn’t have the strongest field either.

I’ve said all along I think Sarri deserved another year but there was a disconnect between him, the Board, the fans and a number of the squad if everything in the garden was rosy we wouldn’t be having these discussions.

I wouldn’t go for Frank I think it’s too early but whoever we appoint will have my support I stuck with Sarri until the end of the season despite my misgivings and I wanted him to be given next season to give him a bit more time but none of us fans get a say in such things.

Whoever is the Manager next season it’s not going to be easy for anyone with no Hazard and probably a transfer ban and because of that I can see the appeal of Juve to Sarri plus it’s back home in Italy.

If Sarri departs I will wish him the very best of luck but there’s nothing official yet.

This is going through the grinder yet again. Done to death over and over. The bloke had no Plan B, couldn’t motivate his players which was self confessed. Did his lolly twice storming off like a big girl and the second time kicking a club cap after chucking it on the ground and none of that the doing of a single club supporter. Throw in dire football for at least 50% of the matches I saw and I watched all of them plus two losses, 0-6 and 0-4, within a few weeks which would have had any of the previous managers sacked within days and I would say that Sarri did well to get as far as he did. Every match Zola looked like he wanted out of the job while Sarri feverishly wrote a million notes about something he couldn’t fix because he was so damn stubborn he didn’t even pass a cursory glance Zola’s way to look for some feedback so Zola sat there as quiet as a church mouse looking daggers at the ‘football’ he was forced to witness.

Roman stresses that he has said his last words on the subject, or so he says, I have said my last words and I mean it, right here, right now so let’s wait and see what happens aye.

Clearly, you guys wanted sari gone, you got your wish by the looks of it, lets see where we are this Time next year, with the fag stub in charge or not.

This other team argument is plain ridiculous, when we’ve won the league its down to us beating opponents for the points, yet, when we finish third by obtaining better results against the same teams our rivals failed to gain points from, its because they choked or were shit… If your a city fan are you thinking Liverpool were shit, they got worse results than us or are you thinking we’ve won the league because there was no one better?

I pity the next manager at Chelsea, its an overhauling job that needs to be done over two seasons. We had just seen the youth integrated into the first team, we have seen them flourish, but, When results go against the side, the fans will be on the managers back and the calamity cycle will continue.

Give it a rest Roman I have consistently said in my posts over the last few weeks that I would have liked to see Sarri have another season.

I’m not going to dig over again the reasons why that doesn’t look like happening suffice to say they are many and varied.

Stop trying to score pointless and inaccurate points againet your fellow posters we are where we are and none of us had or will have any influence on what happens now in respect of Sarri or going forwards.

Let’s just all agree that whatever happens it is hopefully to the benefit of the Club we all support going forwards.

Managers come and go players come and go the constant is the Club that we all support.

Yawn… 9’s… just how I feel reading about how upset you all were with a winning side. how sari wasn’t a winner, this that, tactics, he was paid to deliver and he did with aplomb, lemon suckers like you just dont want to eat humble pie because you were wrong about a manager who delivered. no one cared how we played when we won titles and trophies under Jose or conte, now all of a sudden, the football changes from target man counter attack to fairly slick play that was improving and you all want kick and rush back…

Just pointing it out… sorry you dislike feeling the way you do about being wrong about a manager you’ve slated on here. I said in February believe, you all said he wouldn’t win anything… or deliver, sack him before we miss out on champions league football you said… how is that humble pie?

So my position is this, once again, a new manager coming in sets us back 12 months and lumbers us with Jorgihno. who you all think is useless and shit.

Will leave you all mourn the passing of Hazard while circle jerking over the new manager. enjoy.

Roman, if you review all my responses on the Sarri out thread that you started and then promised to leave it there back in January you will find that you are talking complete, absolute and utter unudulterrated c**p!!!!

That’s the last post that I will let stay up on here from you where you attack fellow posters on here with post which are littered primarily with inaccuracies and lies.

For your own good and the good of the site leave it there now Roman as you said you would back on January 31st and let’s all wait and see what actually materialises over the next few weeks!

    Thank you!

It seems that Sarri asked to join Juve. Everybody has his price. I thank Sarri for the 3rd place and the Cup. I start to agree that the position in the table does not lie. Liverpool (2nd) beat Tottenham (4th). Chelsea (3rd) beat Arsenal (5th). Both pretty much convincingly. Thanks Sarri. But if he decides to go, so be it. I personally would then choose Frank Lampard with Jody Morris to coach Chelsea and help us survive through this transfer ban.

999 when Sarri leaves it will be a parting by mutual agreement on the official website – bet your bottom dollar, pound or Euro whatever it may be. They may even throw in that the project had to be abandoned due to the circumstances of the transfer ban and Sarri not being in a position to build further. The combination of Sarri and no Hazard possibly may have them feeling uneasy too imo. Anyway end of 🙂
