Gonna be very difficult without McTominay in midfield. We should probably switch to 4-3-3 and hope for a functional midfield and dangerous, pacy front three of James, Rashford and Martial
Not gonna attempt a prediction till I see the starting XI
According to the stats, the best Manchester United player this season has been….Dean Henderson. It says a lot about our players but I don’t want to take anything away from the lad; he’s been very good (bar one high profile mistake) and is a big part of Sheffield United’s success. However, being a loanee from us he won’t be available for this match so we’ll see how Sheffield United cope with that. Like others have said, it’s almost impossible to predict the result – if Sheffield United attack us we might punish them on the counter but if they sit deep we might be in for another Bournemouth performance.
Sheffield don’t have a Callum Wilsonn type player up front though. They don’t have a really dangerous striker, that’s not to say they won’t score goals but they do lack that cutting edge that some of the more established PL sides have. McGoldrick and co aren’t bad but they lack the physicality that we seem to struggle against.
