It makes me laugh how Wengie luvies like mop dance up and down because the useless Xhaka has been offered a new contract. In their minds it justifies Clouseau wasting £34million on the waste of space. Mop also seems overjoyed that our most talented midfield player, a true Arsenal fan, who has been with the club since he was 9 years old might be leaving. It shows their true colours when they are keen to push a player out who has more ability in his little toe than the telephone box will ever have. As I said yesterday, wait and see what happens in 12 months time, lets see if he is still with us then and lets see hw many times he plays. As for you underestimating Man City that was just a basic lack of knowledge and your blind love for Clouseau. We ended up 6 places and 37 points behind them, thenre was Man Utd, Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea who finished above us as well, you must have underestimated them as to. Never mind the idiot was sacked and is now a distant memory, your heroes Mustafi and Xhaka wont be around much longer. Remember its Arsenal FC now Arsene Fc, thank God.

Xhakas signed a new contract that has nothing to do with Wenger, I think that indicates he is staying and Emery rates him. You think we’ve signed him so we can sell him for more, I think thats a very stupid thing to say and if you need me to explain why god help you.

It’s always hilarious when you start to make stuff up. When have I said I want Wilshire to leave! I have said the complete opposite, in fact I posted how I’d like to see him be made captain! However he probably will leave as he’s out of contract next week! do you think running your contract down that low shows anything else? Don’t you think he might need a replacement? Again you’re making yourself look a bit silly.

Wengers gone – get over it. Don’t worry you’ll have someone to hate soon I am sure.h

Wenger is no longer here you need to move on. Your post says he is on his way out now you say within 12 months ??? Please don’t just argue for the sake of it. You make yourself look stupid and This is not drive time on talk sport. All I said was your original post was based on your opinion and press speculation and I said you could be wrong, within a matter of days I was proved right!

Steve2Bath1, You still dont get it do you, a little like when Leno arrives a keeper will be leaving, you didnt get that either. Its you Wengie Luvies that need to get over his sacking, I celebrated as it was the best news Ive had in a long time. As I keep telling you lot nothing has been proved about Xhaka other than the fact he is a poor player. If he is still at the club this time next year you will have been proved right, just as you will if both Cech & Ospina are still at the club after the current and next window. I just dont understand why you lot think its great that a poor player has signed another contract. Clouseau has been sacked you dont have to fawn over Xhaka simply because Clouseau signed him. Just wait and see how long he stays.

Mop, Are you sure you dont need a taxi????
Direct quotes from you: “We have got a bigger and better squad than ever, we have bought a top striker and a good defender and without Champions League we will be able to concentrate on the PL. Also some players like Ox, Iwobi and Welbeck will I predict hit top form and improve. I wouldn’t put my house on it as I dont think we will run away with it but I do think we will win the PL and as a bonus Spurs will struggle”.

    This gem was followed by:

“I think it will be very close but without CL we will be right up there

    1) Arsenal
    2) Man City
    3) Man Utd
    4) Liverpool
    5) Everton
    6) Chelsea
    7) West Ham
    8) Spurs”

Not only do you need a taxi but you need the men in white coats to take you away
    😂😂😂

So I thought we’d do a lot better last season and it’s really disappointing we didn’t but that’s last year and thats me being overly optimistic, what it’s not is me contradicting myself in the same thread that I started is it? What it’s not is me making up what people have said? Is it?

Do you think Wilshires staying? Do you not think he will need a replacement? When’s Xhaka going? now? 12 months? 24 months? Just hold your hands up and admit you got that wrong, it might be time for you to have a lie down but by all means do continue it’s hilarious 🤣

Wilshere ought to be staying because he is a far more talented player than any of our other midfield players. He is also an Arsenal product from age 9 but a Wengie worshipper like you would sooner have talentless mercenary at the club just because it was your hero who bought him. Maybe thats why we finished 37 points behind Man City, plus how come you reckoned Arsenal would win the league and the Spuds would come 8th. No credibility, no idea. Anyway, Clouseau has gone, he was sacked so why are you still here. Whats hilarious is you being homeless given you had to sell your house 🤪🤪

Not a single question answered, no surprise really, just more incoherent ranting. It might be an idea to read what you write sometimes.

I agree we should be keeping Wilshire and I have never stated otherwise. I think Wilshires a fantastic player and it baffles me why he didn’t make the World Cup squad.

I think we have room for both Wilshire and Xhaka but clearly Emery doesn’t feel the same and I think sadly because of this Wilshire will leave. Don’t you? Xhakas been given a new contract and Wilshire’s is soon to expire. You might think that means the one with the new contract will be sold but I think even you can see that was a stupid comment. Again nothing to do with Wenger, you may well argue it would be more likely wilshire would stay if Wenger was here but he’s gone remember you really need to move on.

I’ve supported Arsenal for a long time and I’ll continue to do so. Perhaps I’ll see you at the Emirates? I expect with your connections you get some seats from the same place as before 😉

And I am glad you mentioned the house. You said we’d finish mid table and our direct rivals are Everton, WestBrom And Watford. I said if any of them finished within 6 points of us I’d donate my house to the charity of your choice. Obviously the season was a real disappointment for me. But did any of them finish within 6 points? Take your time.

Questions? what questions? All you have done is make silly comments about Xhaka signing a new contract as if thats an achievement. Didnt Henry sign a new contract and then leave? As for your house you said Arsenal would win the PL and if Arsenal didnt finish in the top4 and at least 6 points ahead of teams like Everton and West Ham both teams you said would finish above Spurs you would sell your house? Yes you did, and whilst we are on discussing questions why did Wenger finish 37 points behind Man City and why did Wenger get the sack. Any ideas? No, I thought not.

Why make stuff up! It really shows desperation. Questions I’ll try again:
Do you think Wilshire is staying? Do you think if he goes he’ll need replacing? And therefore do you not think we’ll need at least two more midfielders without anyone going? Do you take back your ludicrous comment that the reason we’ve signed Xhaka is to sell him for more? 😂

Henry left largely because he split up with his wife and wanted to leave London and Wenger allowed him to leave.

Yes before the season started I felt we had a chance of winning the league and how wrong I was. However you said we would finish mid table and our direct rivals were now West Brom! Watford! and Everton. I said if we finished within 6 points of any of those id give my house anyway, nothing about top four – go back and look you clearly have the time. Another question and please give me an answer I need a laugh. Have you got the club level tickets back?

Making things up!!!!! So you didnt say Arsenal would win the PL last season, is that what youre saying? You didnt say Spurs would finish 8th and West Ham and Everton would finish above them? Oh I think you did. You didnt say if Arsenal didnt finish in the top4 and at least 6 points ahead of Everton, West Ham, Burnley, Spurs you would sell your house, after all Arsenal were going to win the PL and the Spuds were going to finish 8th according to you.? Oh I think you did. As for your pointless questions here we go. Do I think Wilshere is staying, no idea, he should be. Do I not think we need two more midfielders? Depends who else leaves and how many are brought in given we are linked with at least 3. Henry left because he split from his wife!!!! But according to you if you sign a new contract you cant leave. Henry actually left because he was fed up with Wenger’s management. Not fairing very well are you. So why did Wenger get the sack then?

In reply to one of your ludicrous comments that Arsenal were now a mid table team and our direct rivals were West Brom, Watford and Everton I said if any of those teams finished within six points of us I’d sell my house. Nothing about top four it was a comment made to emphasise how stupid what your saying was and in the worse season in twenty years we still managed it.

Before the season started I felt we could win the league, this was said I am sure months prior to the season starting obviously I was wrong we were nowhere near and yes annoyingly sp**rs did better than I hoped. And you found the time to quote me above clearly saying I think we can do it but I wouldn’t put my house on it! Have another read, then maybe go over it again because this really is getting exhausting.

Henry left because he said he needed to get out of London due to splitting up with his wife. Of course players leave mid contract but if you’re looking to sell a player you don’t make him sign a long term deal when he still has years to go! You said before you worked in education, I dread to think what in. And the club level seats? 🤣

Ludicrous!!!! The only thing that was ludicrous was your assertion we would win the PL and Spurs would finish 8th. We finished 6th closer to the bottom than the top where Wenger took us within THIRTY SEVEN POINTS of a team you said we would finish above, sounds like mid table to me. That was ludicrous, and you know you included Spurs and the top4 in that comment so its pointless lying. Tell me again why are you so obsessed with that failure Clouseau.

Shifty seeing as you took the time to go back a year and quote me earlier on this thread maybe you’ll care to go back and pull out the quote that says I’d sell my house if we didn’t get into the top four? Or anything about spurs. No… I wonder why.

I’ve hardly mentioned Wenger its you who started bringing all this up from last year to deflect the daft comments you made earlier on this thread that have already been proven wrong. Wengers gon3, move on. Football is about now its not me whos obsessed.

i read shifty’s first sentence, and stopped reading the rest of the post.Because he writes and i quote “useless xhaka has been offered a new contract”.Yet,again no logic in that line whatsoever.how the hell can anyone who has been offered a new contract for his services be deemed as “useless”.Go on,keep defying common sense.

The most pathetic part is wenger is not even at the club anymore so he dosen’t have anyone in particular to pin it on.If wenger was still our manager,I’m more than certain he’d blame wenger for xhaka’s contract extension as well.

PS – Lichsteiner looks a real steel at that age,he’s almost like a player/manager!And xhaka, although I don’t think he had his best game he gave some fantastic long range passes which directly contradicts some clowns who suggest he only makes sideways and backward passes.

So in which case Moppy why are you gloating about Xhaka signing a new contract??? What is so wonderful about that when the thread is about new transfer targets. It can only be because your Great God Wenger signed him. You only ever come on here to sing the idiots praises and glorify every cock up he made before he got the sack. What is so great about Xhaka, are you telling me you think he is a good player, or could it be because he is a Clouseau signing?

Stop going on about Wenger he has gone!

Yes I rate Xhaka and believe he has amazing potential. It looks like Emery agrees hence the new contract. Basic common sense he was going you said, then when he signed you felt that was so we could get more money for him – good job youre not in business. My point was with the players already departed we would need new midfielders as it’s an area we are short in. Doesn’t mean we need to sell.

Yes Mop your hero has gone and I celebrated whilst you cried into your beer and mourned the loser. You dont know that the useless Xhaka isnt going, he certainly should be because he is poor. Maybe Dick has made a mistake, did that ever occur to you. Or perhaps he thought we will lose a fortune on him so lets keep him, or maybe he likes to have lots of players, who knows. But what most Arsenal FC fans, not Arsene FC fans like you know is the guy is rubbish and if Dick wants a group of players of that ability then we arent going to improve. As I keep telling you we wont know yet so stop jumping up and down and trying to peddle your Clouseaubias. Lots of players have signed new long term contracts and then left within 12 months including Henry, Suarez, Bale and Cavani so just wait and see.

Wow Xhaka in the same bracket as Henry, Surez, Bale and Cavani. I think he’s got a lot of potential but I wouldn’t compare him to those four. I’d give up if I were you, try reading what you write it might stop you looking so foolish.
