Anything could happen in this match and I wouldn’t be surprised. I hope Fellaini, despite his goal scoring rescuing us in midweek, is benched and used as an impact sub should the need arise. Hope Pogba comes back in instead.

November 29, 2018 at 9:01 am #1702310Well if we can’t win this José should be fired immediately, 3-1 to us.
November 29, 2018 at 9:13 am #1702319if you had to pick a team to play next at the minute this would be a top 3 choice i think so its a good one for you guys and obviously one you SHOULD win and get old sparky fired, or will it be the reverse?! as long as you dont play in a grey kit you should be OK 😉
i think im going to go for a 1-1 on this one though, Saints need to battle hard after losing to Fulham
November 29, 2018 at 9:52 am #1702331Am going to start putting my predictions in when I see the team sheet, this might make it a touch easier to predict.
November 29, 2018 at 10:49 am #1702370I would also go with that midfield MUFC but doubt Mourinho will. He needs his quota of at least 6 players 6’3 or over. So expect to see Felliani and Matic start on Saturday.
November 29, 2018 at 11:02 am #1702384Good point, just for one game be nice not to have plodders and tanks in the team.
November 29, 2018 at 11:14 am #1702385may not be thr right thread for this, but ive had a thought…its a tiny bit conspiracy theory but ….
Fred, £50m, and many seem to like him and want him giving more game time to settle and bed in and see what he can really do is not a 6ft plodder and has more energy….
By all accounts Maureen didnt want him he wanted Witsel, so Fred isnt his by its Eds, do you think his lacxk of game time and being subbed before others when he does play is to destroy his confidence and make him seem maybe worse than he is so he can then say to Ed, i told you and i wanted the other playert and get his way?
thougts?
November 29, 2018 at 11:28 am #1702390I think you’re on to something steveo…perhaps not quite right but there is definitely something going on with regard to the players we buy. Who is Fred’s agent?
November 29, 2018 at 11:37 am #1702392Who is Fred’s agent?
Cadbury’s
November 29, 2018 at 11:37 am #1702393it might also explain his treatment of certain other players if he wants to MAKE the board buy who HE wants as replacements?
no idea who is agent is and like i said could all be smoke and mirrors and just Maureens way of doing things…but still makes you think
November 29, 2018 at 11:52 am #1702403Gilberto Silva is his agent. And he was on Bein Sports recently and he definitely was acting like some strange shit was going on with Fred i.e. that he was the clubs signing and not Mourinho’s. I find it hard to believe that Woodward would be signing players over Mourinho’s head. I think it is more a case that for every position there is an agreed list of 3 or 4 players and that probably the board are picking certain one’s of that list which are not necessarily Mourinho’s top picks. I think it is the same reason that Matic and Lukaku play nearly every game because they both were clearly the managers signings.
November 29, 2018 at 1:25 pm #1702434I agree all the above. Same with Bailly and Lindelof – both were probably on his list as 5th choice
Also, agree completely with MUFC’s midfield three
Unfortunately Matic and Fellaini will probably get the nodNovember 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm #1702453Another clean sheet and a 3-0 win.
November 29, 2018 at 3:59 pm #1702497Going for a 2-1 win.
November 30, 2018 at 12:37 am #1702607I think the snake eye is onto something there. I read an article recently about how recruitment works today and how agent have become the scouts. The club let’s it be known they are interested in a player for a certain position and give a description of the qualities they are looking for. A little like a job vacancy advertisement. Agents then try to sell the club one of the players on their books with the club likely to accept the recommendation of the agent (salesman) they know.
It certainly fits into JMs character. Players he signs are undroppable and players he doesn’t sign are unplayable. Its a combination of ego and spite. With Fred being signed early in the summer, I can see it going down like this…..
Ed: The club wants to sign Fred
JM: I dont want him !
Ed: Look, we are signing 3 players this summer, you can choose the other 2 alright?
JM: In that case OK then.JM: Ed, I want Alderweireld and Willian.
Ed: They are too old for the price, sorry Jose I can’t let you have them.
JM: But you promised *stomps foot*
Ed: Yes but I thought it was clear the club must have value for money
JM: Well if I can’t have them I don’t want anybody *stomps foot*
Ed: Fair enough, we save the money.
JM: I’ll tell the press on you
Ed: Fair enough, but read the fine print in your contract.
JM: We won’t win anything this season then.
Ed: Fair enough, but read the fine print in your contract !!!November 30, 2018 at 7:08 am #17026123-1 Utd
November 30, 2018 at 8:24 am #1702634Rather then start a new thread, will ask a question. If Jose is to get sacked, when would the right time be to do it?
November 30, 2018 at 9:08 am #1702660As soon as possible…if that’s the decision act on it now rather than allowing Mourinho to harm and poison the club over the next 5-6 months. Waiting until 4th place is mathematically impossible is lunacy if you ask me.
The flip side of that is what to do through to the end of the season though? Our next manager is not prepared to walk out mid season but he will agree to join us next summer.
