London has now been labelled “Stab City”!
London’s my home town. I was born here and I love it. It’s a hotchpotch of everything good and bad and always has been, and long may it continue.
I know it’s currently been bedevilled with Sadiq Kahn as Mayor who’s done next to fuck all except scheme his own devious agenda, but hopefully the evil bastard won’t get away with it much longer.
I do wonder though if the few posters who are still left on here from the outer regions, most of whom must come from Manchester or Liverpool areas think that “Stab City” is indeed a correct assessment of the greatest city on earth. The far-flung armchair ‘faithful’ are also welcome to feel free to comment on this too of course.
I personally think it’s that “Stab City” is a rather previous declaration. That said, I don’t exonerate that shady bastard Kahn for doing next to fuck all about anything he should have, but surely there’s shit going on all over the place in this fractured country now.
What’s going on? Any wise, or unwise thoughts? If only to increase the body-count of this acutely haemorrhaging site.
    Is the future really murder?
    Lenny.

You will know more as I’m from Manchester myself. But is there an investigation into why its happening? Is it a turf war? Drugs war? Or just a fight which results in a coward drawing a knife as they don’t have the sack to fist fight like a real man would.

all cities in engl;and have this, we dont hear about all the stabbings that happen and where, maybe opthers with local news can say if its as bad elsewhere? one thing is for sure though we are at epidemic proportions now

the latest one, a very beautiful looking girl, 8 MONTHS PREGNANT, stabbed, KILLED, baby delivered as mum died and in intensive care

who ever is doing it or why there has been a definate shift towards people being more ready to do these things, also more ready to attack the police (recent programme last night on that, tho i missed it)

also havimng watched a lot of “24 hours in police custody” you can see they law ties the hands of the police, for all the great work they do the law lets them down…..

bad times and scary if you have young ones…

I wonder if the changing demographics of the UK, especially London, plays a role in this. Logic says that as the nation becomes more international then there will be more foreign cultures in society, bringing both the good and the bad.

Only around 45% were British white in 2011 in London, curious to what the figure is now.

Mac. There has been an alarming change of demographics in certain parts London and I have no faith in the government’s official figures. They’re bollocks. Never mind ‘the good and the bad’, they have also blindly allowed the downright ugly to flood in, fester and take root here and the cancer is spreading. Almost my entire family pissed off to Essex, Kent and Hertfordshire ages ago and I’m very glad they did.
Stab City is no joke and way things are, it’s going to get worse.
    The future is murder.

I suspect demographics and culture does play a part but its a political firestorm to suggest that people from different backgrounds may actually be different.

Personally I’m not overly concerned about knife violence. Does it make a difference if somebody is killed from a knife or iron bar on the head, or being burned alive in their home (Manchester incident). Violent crime is the issue.

Its the root causes that are more concerning, education (especially social conduct and repercussions). The mentality and mindset of the average yob, which is closer to ape than homo sapiens. I sometimes wonder what those aliens in their UFOs think of the inhabitants of a highly developed nation like England.

just shows, those crazt yanks may not be as crazy as we think, we have far fewer ways to get guns unless in the high criminal class, if everyone had them like in the states our gun crime would be up there with theirs and knife crime would be low

times are changing i think if you were to look at violent crime over the decades its far worse now, the question is why?

is it poverty, is it mentality (if so why) life is cheap these days and many are desensitised

the world is getting worse instead of better and will continue to do so until our hand is forced to do otherwise, but it will get much much worse before it has any chance of getting better, by then it will likely be far to late anyway….

Surely police budget cuts are the primary reason for the rise in crime. They very much go hand in hand.

“Surely police budget cuts are the primary reason for the rise in crime”.

You not wrong there Harry and we have Mrs May to thank for that when she was Home Secretary and insanely decided to sack 20,000 street police. Since then the problems here in Stab City have mushroomed out of control and beyond belief!.

Knife crime is nothing new in London, especially in the East End. Teddy Boys in the 1950’s carried flick-knives as an essential fashion item back then and let’s not forget the Mods and Rockers in the 60’s with their chains, and ball-paean hammers. After that it all went a bit soft in the 70’s & 80’s with Elton, Bowie and Freddie etc… Until Punk reared its head and the lid started to come off. Since then it’s slowly but surely deteriorated into increasing mayhem, and it’s just got seriously out of whack now.

Since the enormous influx of immigrants into Stab City there are now gang wars, turf wars, drug wars, and religious bigotry. There has been an alarming increase in rape, bigamy buggery, incest, burglary and theft. None of which is given too much priority by the police at present because they no longer have the resources to effectively cope with any of it.

My older cousin who still lives in the East End is frightened to go out after dark these days. It’s dangerous and foreboding. I should say that where he lives, it’s not unusual to see young inebriated women crouching to take a piss in the street on a Friday or Saturday night. I’ll say no more.

Although there are “No Spitting” signs in different languages all over his manor he tells me that when he walks along the street he still has to step carefully in order to dodge the spit on the pavement. He no longer worries about the clear white mucus but the big green and dirty yellow banjos piss him off immensely! It’s understandable and I worry for his safety and sanity.

I have no idea how this awful situation can improve with our hopelessly inept government, but make no mistake, parts of Stab City are on the skids in many more ways than one and there is precious little evidence to suggest that it’s going to improve. On the contrary, it’s going to get worse.
    Happy days.
    Len.

Redblood. Luckily I did move out mate.
I could no longer take the way the area that I grew up in could go so far down the crapper since this outrageous influx of god knows who were openly allowed to reside, ponce, breed and infest the entire area that I grew up in and turn it into a completely alien culture!
The place is now a self-contained shit-hole mainly funded by benefits from the state and it breaks my heart. I feel for the few people I still know there who have to put up with it.
    The future is murder,
    Lenny.

Lenny – Try not to use words like “infest” when talking about human populations. I know the kind of reaction you’re after using words like that, and it’s not big, and it’s not clever. You’re a fairly articulate fellow, and you know how the words you type are going to come across.

I’m losing track of the deaths from stabbing. The numbers are clicking up like a kitchen timer. It’s reaching a point now when people read another stabbing death they shrug and say, oh no not another one there’s no feelings of outrage any more just expectation. Simple solution, on the spot random searches for deadly weapons, if discovered and convicted then minimum 20 year terms. To facilitate, build and staff 50 new prisons, note prisons as in Russia not prison motels as currently used and pay for same by abandoning HS2 which is an unnecessary waste of public funds.

What an absurd logic. Are you suggesting stabbing increased because of immigrants? If so, provide a credible evidence and fact.

Harry I choose the words I use because they are the words that I think most accurately convey my meaning. If you feel that it’s not politically correct enough for you that’s your call. I have no idea what dictionary you use but I think my understanding of the word “infest” was quite valid for what I explained. Infest means: (quoted from various English dictionaries):…

“to live in or overrun to an unwanted degree or in a troublesome manner”
“to be numerous in, as anything undesirable or troublesome”
“to cause a problem by being present in large numbers”
“to inhabit a place in unpleasantly large numbers”
“to inhabit or overrun in numbers or quantities large enough to be harmful, threatening, or obnoxious”

To be honest Harry, I could have used almost any of the following verbs to convey my point e.g.: overrun, flood, invade, penetrate, ravage, swarm, throng, beset, permeate etc… I chose to use “infest”.

Sorry if it offended you, but to be honest mate, that’s your problem not mine.
    Cheers,
    Lenny.

Lenny-Tbh,mate,I dont see a way out and cant see the authorities being able to do anything about it all this.Even without quoting the Bible-the future is indeed murder! As the great John Cleese said recently-London,sorry,the stab City-isnot an English city anymore! And,I can understand your frustration and sorrow for using the language you did,and you are indeed a jolly good fellow!
