I am disgusted at the moaning, foul language and in some cases slanderous posts which have littered this site for much of this season. We have been left behind by two teams playing exceptional football, not every game but enough to take the points. they have both bought players wisely and in the main kept some semblance of control on their wage bill.

We have not, our team is full of players who have proved not fit to wear the shirt, either from a lack of technical ability or a lack of team spirit and fight.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been given the job, which will take time, to rebuild the Club. He did a superb job in erasing the memory of the Mourinho debacle but we now know that the players who let Mourinho down (assisted by his own suspect man management), were in the main the highest paid in the Club and because of their vanity and view that the grass is always greener have lost focus at a time when we could least afford it.

Having supported United through the barren years between Busby and Ferguson, I remember that the bed-wetters then stopped coming to games. Maybe this is what is necessary to show the Glazers, Woodward and the Board what we feel.

Support Ole. It would be disingenuous to desert him after his initial efforts. Get rid of all high earners and introduce a performance-based pay structure. Be prepared for a few barren years. This Club will rise again but not on the back of moaning, foul-mouthed critics.

Haha good fucking luck with that one matey!, there’s about as much chance of these self entitled useless twats accepting some sort of performance related pay as there is the rest of us not using foul language to describe just what a collective bunch of total wankers they are.
You might just as well go and bark at the moon, simple as that.

As for giving Ole our ‘support’, he will get a free ride from me until the start of next season when we will see what shite has been kicked out and who he has managed to persuade to join this circus.
After that, he will be under scrutiny just like everyone else and I have to admit the thought of Ole, Phelan and Carrick on the training ground with Woodturd pulling all the strings behind the scenes tells me that it will all end in tears sooner rather than later yet again.

Most fans will stop “wetting the bed” when the players and management (incl. club executives) stop “shitting the bed”.

We’re all after the same thing here Big K. People just express that in different ways.

Confidence is a huge thing in this game, it can make the best players look average and the average players look great at times. When Ole came in he gave the players confidence, he told them they were great players and they started to show that on the pitch. Remember Rashford’s sublime piece of skill for his assist to for Pogba, was it in the CL? Rashford was even showing signs of sorting his finishing and decision making out – he was on fire. Pogba too has played some incredible football, some good goals and some truly amazing assists. Herrera was playing his best football in a United shirt as well, box-to-box covering every blade of grass. Lukaku went on a decent run, Lingard was in Ole’s starting 11 – even Mata had a good spell! We were strangling teams to death much like what City were doing. During those first 15 game we had the best record in the league. Even better than the all-conquering City and Liverpool teams. We’d won more games, scored more goals and conceded less than even those two teams, having incredible seasons.
It’s quite easy to forget about that…

But somewhere along the way that confidence has just sapped away. A couple of losses and all of those players have reverted back to the nervous players they were under Jose. It is a strange thing, i wonder how confidence can come and go so quickly and easily?

One thing is for sure, we are heading into this season-defining game with Chelsea with absolutely no confidence whatsoever.

    There’s two points though;
    1. stop wetting the bed after a defeat
    2. stop the foul language

One of the issues with the forum is as soon as you ask people not to do anything they automatically do it more – as if to prove some non-existent point. Same thing happened on the Rashford thread not so long ago – the amount of c-bombs being dropped since then has escalated. People can either accept that they need to make minor adjustments and keep a basic standard of behaviour, or accept that others will move away and the forum will die.

The biggest issue with the forum is the judgmental, moralising, sanctimonious, patronising nature of a few people on here who think they know better.

On both points….there is a lot of bed wetting going on. People need to realise we are deep in the brown stuff and its going to be a long hard road back. We’ve been through it before and we’ll have to go through it again.

On the swearing, i don’t get it in fairness. I am as bad as any one but don’t think its anything you wouldn’t hear in a boozer or on the terraces watching games. Sign of the times i am afraid.

Yes the language is getting out of control and only the most disillusioned fan will think we’re anywhere but up the creek without a paddle. It will take a long time to get back to where we want to be and that’s something we’ll just have to accept. However, when it comes to Pogba, I will use the word cunt with aplomb because he absolutely is one.

UWW – Yep, Liverpool are on fire. So annoying. Have to admire them though as Neville is saying now they’re a formidable force. So many of their signings have worked out well and I’m just wondering how much of that is down to Klopp and how much if it is down to the “vision of the club”?

It’s hard to understand isn’t it? I mean, you can’t really think when they signed him for £9m that they knew Andy Robertson would be the best left back in the league?
When they signed Mane I’m pretty sure nobody at that club thought he would get anywhere near the same level he’s at now. All of their signings in the past have been Adam Lallana type level players. You can’t hide away from the fact that they broke the world transfer record for both Allison and Van Dick but really it’s some of these cheaper signings that have turned out really well for them.

It’s just funny how some signings work out and some don’t. When they do it’s all about the sound, long term vision of the club and when they don’t then everything’s broken at board level.

Bailly, Mhkytaryian, Fred, Sanchez – Jesus it’s such a shite list. Surely we’re due a few signings that actually just fall into place and work our amazingly well?

I’d say it’s both manager and board. Unless your vision, ambitions don’t align together then there’s no chance of sustainable success. You probably won’t like this but Robertson has more assists in one season than shaw has had in 5, pretty damning if you ask me.

They’ve purchased players for the right positions rather than a scatter gun approach or whose got the biggest social following. Scouting recruitment, coaching etc many factors within a football make a difference. We need to return to basics and that is a football club first ,the commercial side takes care of itself. Sadly under this ownership I doubt that will happen. Somethings broken and it ain’t just the hole in the south stand roof.

I read somewhere he took the players to the old training ground cliffe ?he’d have been better off taking them to an actual ruddy cliff and pushing them all off!

We pay Shaw 200k a week,i wonder how much they pay Robertson.
Mané is an exceptional player,he was that in Southampton too.
