The only way I could see it happening was if Barca bought someone else that went in ahead of Suarez, that is not likely for the next couple of years at least.

Hopefully Barca sign Aguero and Luis finds himself surplus to requirements. Really proud that he won’t play for another English club as well. Seeing the likes of Fowler,Torres and Owen in another Prem club’s shirt just devastated me. I’d love him back, but realistically, I don’t think it will happen sadly

Personally prefer 100 M Suarez to 75 M Lewandowski. Klopp + Suarez = 2 EPL titles within 3 seasons at least. A man can dream.

There’s something about the cliché that “you should never go back” that tends to ring true most of the time. Let’s just remember the good times.

United fan in peace (no really!)

All I want to say is Suarez’s words sounds incredibly similar to what Ronaldo has been saying for years.

    It’s almost verbatim.

He’s been looking to move to Barcelona since, like…forever. His family is settled there. He’ll leave once Barcelona have got the last bit of bestness out of him. Whilst it’s nice to hear a former players such such a thing, this won’t happen.

Riz-man – His family was also settled in Liverpool and he had a really good relationship with the other South Americans, with Lucas being his best buddy. The big attraction family wise in Barcelona was that his wife’s family live there but we all know living near your in-laws it not as good as what he maybe thought 🙂

Liverpool is the Barcelona of England 😛

Nah seriously though, I would say Suarez is talking about when he’s in his 30’s. other than that he’s really only stating that he misses the fans. I don’t think he’d ever have left if the culture had been similar to that of Spain.

He’s absolutely thriving in Spain and I wish him all the success in the world. I think there is a good chance that he’ll officially be the worlds best player next season.

999 – I know the weather is better in Barcelona, but they have as many crap parts of the City as Liverpool, and Liverpool has as many really nice parts, especially since all the regeneration work. Lets face it these are people that will only be living in the really nice parts.

MrMak – I agree with you, it seems obvious he is talking about when his time in Spain comes to an end.

In Barcelona, Suarez is not the King. If he comes back to Anfield, he will be. Financial climate is not so good in Spain while a lucrative TV contract will start from next season in England.

If we can offer a lucrative contract, say 50% higher than Barca., to Suarez. Then it will be very attractive for a player who is already 30. If he can help us to bring the title back to Anfield (likely), everything is worthy.
