We need new attacking forwards that actually try shooting now and again and are more clinical, I’m a big fan of Pulisic our most gifted player but his not doing it and neither are the other lot.

Okay a few ifs and buts here …however:

Should Poch return to the Prem at United as it is rumoured, it is also rumoured that his first target would be Kane. That would mean Spurs would need a replacement and have a few pound to spend.
Would Conte, if he is still there, think he could get the best out of Lukaku and would Chelsea cut their losses?

With the uncertainty at the moment, I don’t think it’s wise to sell the only pure striker we have (Lukaku). But I reckon we may use the summer transfer window to get rid of non-performing players. I would start with Werner. I believe we can get probably almost the same money as when we bought him. He wouldn’t be lacking suitors in Germany.

The second would be Pulisic. He has talent, but he’s just too lightweight, his injury record is not good, and he’s never consistent. Again I believe we can get good money for him as he shouldn’t be lacking suitors.

We could replace Werner and/or Pulisic with a free transfer Ousmane Dembelé or with a loan of Eden Hazard, who I reckon can still do a lot in Premier League should he stay healthy.

I was reading some papers wrote that Chelsea ‘are open to selling Broja and Anjorin in move that could raise more than £50m for summer transfer spree’ I hope we don’t make that mistake after the mistales we made with others. Hopefully this is just a rumour.

We have a history of throwing young and bright talents on the cheap. so this will not surprise me. in fact, I won’t be surprised to see Chelsea sell Broja for £20m and reinvest that money in a striker who will ultimately fail at Chelsea because the system remains the same. We seem to never learn from our past, our legacy of transfer failures is lighting up in this league day and night. which team makes a £70m loss on a striker that cannot cut in this league? and after the rumours that Roman wants to sell the club, we won’t have the luxury of making transfer mistakes and still get away with it.

YB, all yesterday’s fish and chip paper mate we won’t get a clear picture re comings and goings until the Summer and Tuchel will have the final say.

I think things could be a bit hazy this Summer re incoming transfers given all the current circumstances which may well impact on who stays and who goes.

With Abramovich leaving the club, I don’t think there will be big splashes in the summer. And this is time to reap what we sow: academy players. Broja, Gallagher, Anjorin, Harvey Vale etc.

And also it’s time to cut the deadwoods. I will start by Barkley who did not even play today. And how good Kepa is, 150k salary per week is a lot for a back-up GK. And I am still of opinion to sell Pulisic and Werner. We’ll get some money from them for sure. They have been at Chelsea for almost 2 seasons and I can’t see them improving that much as IMO their style is not suited for Premier League.

We battling to score with those 2 expensive oafs upfront who can’t even trap a pass properly while Abraham and Giroud are scoring vital goals for their teams every week.

On TT, there’s article that Christensen already agreed with Barça and already had the medical. So we will lose him. A homegrown player moreover. Hopefully Chelsea will do better with Rudiger and with Azpi to retain both of them with the club.

” Antonio Rudiger “had an agreement” before Abramovich was sanctioned.”

Disappointing hopefully the new owners can sort it out.

A Matthew Briggs master class. Where do these blokes get the info from- re an agreement etc etc . Sounds like Rudiger is going to Juventus based on a subsequent article to this one, also on Team Talk. Where did Manchester United come into it?

Seems like Teamtalk just likes to print as many negative stories about Chelsea as they can at the moment, regardless of if they are true, or even if they contradict each other!

Read about Rüdiger to Juve. And Azpi to Barca. It doesn’t surprise me as the club is at the moment in disarray. We just can hope that a new owner will be officialized quickly and we can be back to business as normal. When we don’t know what’s gonna happen for the next match, it’s impossible to plan for the next season.

My feeling is that we won’t get defaulted as there seems to be a lot of bids coming in last nite. But the new owner won’t be official that quickly so we won’t have opportunity to discuss again with Rüdiger, Azpi & Christensen. All 3 will leave on free

Aindro, as of January this year all 3 of those players were free to sign pre contracts with other clubs, they have not yet which means there is a chance they could re sign with us.

I expect azpi to join barca and probably christensen too…my gut tells me that within the first week of new owners we will confirm an agreement with rudiger but again thatis just my gut feeling. All could stay and all could leave, nothing is confirmed yet.

“Claims over the weekend emerged of Antonio Rüdiger having supposedly agreed personal terms with Juventus for next season, but those were quickly debunked. Now there are more reasonable reports coming in even from Italy about the 29-year-old not making any hasty decisions yet, and waiting to see how things turn at Chelsea.

According to Sky Italia (via Inside Futbol) Rüdiger has “yet to take the final call on whether to move on” and is “waiting to see whether the next Chelsea owners are prepared to offer him a new contract” — and how big of a new contract of course, since wages and bonuses were said to be the sticking point in all the negotiations earlier this season. (Though some recent reports had claimed that we had agreed on wages before the sanctions hit and prevented us from finalizing the extension.)

So, yet another reason to try to fast-track this ownership transition and (presumably) the end of the sanctions, so that we have a chance to discuss and offer new contracts — and not just to Rüdiger but to César Azpilicueta as well (and maybe Andreas Christensen, if he changes his mind).

Toni will not be short of suitors if that doesn’t happen, with Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid all linked, so it behooves us (and whoever our new owners will be) to not be penny-pinchers.”

    Interesting article hopefully it’s accurate?

Be good to give the new owners a chance to decide whether to try and hang on to Rudiger.
