Henderson has the potential to become United and England number one. Replacing de Gea with a first team keeper won’t help him. If de Gea leaves, Henderson should be given a full season to prove his worth and supported by a backup keeper. Before he got back into Southampton’s first team I was thinking somebody like Fraser Forster would be ideal
April 14, 2021 at 8:01 pm #1943221As long as we stay away from Varane,Griezmann,Perisic, lol.
April 16, 2021 at 3:19 pm #1943803It is possible we will make a move for Varane
Good, quick defender who rarely makes a mistake and is rarely injured 🤣April 16, 2021 at 7:18 pm #1943850£100m for J.Bellingham? How much did he cost Dortmund?
April 16, 2021 at 9:04 pm #1943866Hah he moved for £20 million. Just hold off till next summer. Then he’ll be entering the final 12 months of his contract
So Rice and Camavinga this summer and Bellingham next year. That’d be our midfield good to go 😂April 24, 2021 at 12:18 pm #1946607This failed ESL and the uncertainty around Woodward and Murtough sounds like the perfect excuse for the club to piss about this summer and bring in a free transfer signing on deadline day 🤬
April 26, 2021 at 11:10 am #1947327Bayern sign Upamecano for £40m
Liverpool to sign Konate for £35m
Chelsea to sign Varane for £60m
United offer 4 year contract to Bailly 🤬🤬🤬April 26, 2021 at 3:49 pm #1947403homer-Sign Ramos & Pique???Lol
April 26, 2021 at 4:55 pm #1947417Spurs want to have Ten Hag from Ajax, as their new manager. That is music in my ears. He def wants that VDB join him at Spurs, surely that Ole is favours Fred in the midfield. Meaning if United wants Harry, make them an offer with VDB as a swap deal to sweeten the deal. It could be a Win-Win situation!!
April 27, 2021 at 9:17 am #1947538If that were to be the case then we’d still be looking at 100m plus VDB for Kane. Do we want to spend that much on a 28 year old with dodgy ankles…..?
April 27, 2021 at 9:18 am #1947539Also, given that Pogba could leave, do we want to let VDB go?
April 27, 2021 at 12:04 pm #1947602No surprise to see Ronaldo stories circulating tbis morning to try and deflect from Glazers out talk.
Eric Bailly new contract signals to me we won’t be spending much this summer. We’ll be desperate to renew Pogbas contract for big wages next.
Sign and share the government petition for the 50 + 1 fans ownership rule guys.
April 27, 2021 at 12:35 pm #1947614Bailly signs a new contract that will keep the physio busy, although he has his work already cut out with Jones. Injured more than half the time, not reliable to be available when needed.. Ole has hardly played him even when he has been fit and done absolutely nothing to deserve a new contract but yeah we offered him one with a pay raise I’m sure.. Pointless again from Utd. Getting players to signing extensions so they don’t have to buy new players. No new CB in the summer.
As I said, I have lost all hope on Manchester United under the current ownership. My beloved United is in a total mess – no direction, no plan, no hope. No end in sight to this misery 😢😢😢
Stop buying the shirts. Stop going to the games. It’s the only way to hit these scavengers hard. They won’t care unless you hit them in the pocket. Don’t buy the prawn sarnies either. #GlazersOut
April 27, 2021 at 2:09 pm #1947638I think Bailly has (just about) deserved a new contract after some of his performances this season. He obviously needs to now take a leaf out of Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw’s book and put those “injuries” firmly behind him next season. There were questions about both Smalling and Shaw’s willingness to play through the pain barrier, or unless they were 100% fit and maybe Bailly has been of similar mentality. But he can change that, hopefully this new contract will give him the belief to do that. I think he’s a very important person in the dressing room, apparently he links several groups of players together because he speaks several languages.
I’d say it’ll be Phil Jones leaving in the summer, given his recent playing time;2 seasons ago he played 24 times for us
Last season he played 8 times for us.
This season he hasn’t played for us…?!April 27, 2021 at 3:03 pm #1947657Everyone deserves a contract if your reference is Phil Jones. But, funnily enough Phil Jones has more Premier league appearance in the past four seasons than Eric Bailly.
Eric Bailly Premier League appearance
2020/21: 8 games
2019/20: 4 games
2018/19: 12 games
2017/18: 13 gamesPhil Jones Premier League appearance
2021/21: 0 games
2019/20: 2 games
2018/19: 18 games
2017/18: 23 gamesEric Bailly is a fan favourite but he’s quite frankly not good enough and he’s made of glass. He’s got good physical attributes but his reading of the game is so poor. He’s far too impulsive which is why he’s always getting badly injured. For those of us who think we need a new CB in the summer this is not a good sign.
As you know, I have always been a positive Utd fan so let me say something positive about Bailly’s contract extension. This is great news. We needed a permanent replacement for Phil Jones on the injured reserve list. We only have for 3 more years of Phil. Eric is looking like a fine replacement for him.
April 27, 2021 at 4:43 pm #1947679Ha ha!! I’m not that bothered about it. Obviously if it means we don’t get a CB this summer then it’s a shambles. If Ole doesn’t tear up Phil Jones’ contract and wipe his arse with it this summer it’s also a shambles!!
April 27, 2021 at 7:03 pm #1947702My big concern at the moment is the Glazers ownership. Every United fan should keep up the pressure on the Glazer family to sell. I believe the Glazers can be forced to sell Manchester United. It seems astounding to consider that we are now saddled with a £720 million debt, which regardless of how much spin comes out of the United PR department, is growing year on year. If United actually had competent owners that run the club with minimal profit the league would be in deep trouble. Even City and Chelsea’s money would struggle such is the colossus of cash that we can generate if we aren’t hamstrung by the siphoning off that has been happening for 15 straight years and thats why we want these parasites gone and rivals want them to stay forever.
April 28, 2021 at 9:51 pm #1948083Good chance PSG come in for De Gea in summer after Navas’ horrific performance tonight.
April 28, 2021 at 10:12 pm #1948090Navas has always been a shit keeper, ever since he was at Madrid. Awful
May 2, 2021 at 12:43 pm #1949211Horrible rumors today linking Tuanzebe with a move away for peanuts. Guaranteed he’d be at least a £30 million defender if he was playing regularly for a team like villa. We need to focus on getting rid of Jones first and loan Mengi out for the full season next year
