Funny how all the managers we have keep playing Mctominay though isn’t it? Perhaps I’m not the only deluded one…?! 😂😉

Lack of a better option, like I said he’s honest and not bad, he’s a good player just not a starter at Man Utd level good, but we’ve no-one else.

I’d give that window a 7/ 10. Lots of areas to work on but at least now the club has time to work on finding those players

Next summer priorities need to be a first choice keeper, competition to Dalot at RB, a world class CM (de Jong?) and a top striker approaching his peak

A lot of money to be spent again but next year should be able to make money selling players like Lindelof, Maguire, McFred, vdB and a couple kids like Pellistri/ Elanga, Shoretite

That’s because most of our academy players are shite killy. And the ones with potential never get a kick anyway.

Iqbal and Mejbri have the potential to take McTominay’s place but are probably at least a year away in terms of development. Will be interesting to see how Mejbri does on loan at Birmingham (and Amad at Sunderland) this season

Amad has skills but not the physical presence, he badly needs a year of being kicked up and down the sidelines in Sunderland to see how he does.

Why don’t we just start integrating them into the first team ffs. That’s the only way to discover whether they’re good enough. Surely there must be guys in there with infinitely more talent than Rashford, McTominay and Elanga? Well actually, I can answer my own question, there are. We saw Garnacho and Iqbal in particular, playing with pace and composure in pre season, yet we persist with cunts like Elanga. Fucking blind cunts that are running the football side I’m afraid.

agree with jm1502 – you could see the difference players like Saka and Smith Rowe made when they came in and took the places of big transfer players who weren’t performing (Pepe for example).

Garnacho is definitely an upgrade on Elanga.
Iqbal might not be on McTominay… yet.

Young players need to be given the freedom to express themselves and show they can make it, or else we’re gonna end up with players like Chong and Gomes who will just be fancy young stars on paper and we lose them for nothing after a few years.

@happy – Just in case it escaped your attention three of those managers ended up being kicked out of the club, and if ETH can’t find a better solution (even as a squad player) for that talentless, oafish sack of shivering shite by this time next year at the latest then the same fate awaits him as well, simple as that

Who is the guy who came on vs Liverpool last season with bushy hair? He shown more commitment and fight in 20 minutes than most of the team did all season.

That was Hannibal Mejbri, he’s gone to Birmingham on loan for the season. No harm, playing championship for a few months, get his shins kicked by a few seasoned veterans while he’s at it.

Pound to a pinch of shite he never makes a regular in the first team killy.

    #2130249

@jm1502 – to be fair, Mejbri has shown glimpses that he has the skill to make it; now whether he is given a chance is another matter. Could end up being like Pogba were he leaves, is given a chance and makes it… maybe not.
