Reports that Chelsea are looking at sending Michy B out on loan to Napoli. Surprised they would do that and leave us with only two, especially with Giroud not getting any younger.

full International many times over for Belgium with 13 goals in 25 appearances since 2015 but struggles for game time at Chelsea where we have had striker problems ever since Costa left. Rather odd isn’t it.

Like I could understand the decision if he was not as good as the strikers we’ve had in the past 2 seasons but the reality is those strikers have been mostly crap especially in the league and Bats still didn’t get a shot.

    Bats scored:

7 in 10 games for Dortmund
5 in 11 games for Palace

I 100% believe if we would have had him next Hazard that whole 2 seasons his return would have been much better than any Striker we’ve had since Costa.

You could be right there Bort. I personally prefer Tammy for now, I think he has shown greater potential for us in his few games than Batshuayi has.

I agree about Tammy but I cannot understand how Bats has been this overlooked the whole time with all our striker issues

Thing with Batsman Bort is no matter his decent stats with other clubs it is about what he has done when playing in a chelsea shirt, I will agree he should have had more of a chance but he didnt do himself any favours when you consider his performances when he was given a chance. He will score goals though, I would rather we didnt loan him out, I just dont think his all round game is good enough to warrant a starting place.

Understand you need 3 strikers but you cannot keep an established international striker out the team for too long he also needs to have opportunities to prove he can do just as well so imo he should go on loan and use a youth player for example Charlie Brown as a 3rd choice striker when needed.

Bakayoko out to Monaco. I hope he will shine there and they will make him permanent.

I’m not sure if anyone here mentioned that. but this morning I was reading that Emerson has been taken off while playing Italy due to injury. well if that is confirmed we will be in big trouble. with the kind of the leaky defence, we have and Alonso is added. I think it will be a big problem for us. I hope the injury is not a serious one.

Yep seems like a minor injury to Emerson agree with Lucky about the new contract for him.

Let’s hope Alonso steps up to the mark v Wolves he will have been waiting to try and reclaim his spot and hopefully that will help him put in a good performance.

Rumours abound re the transfer ban being overturned on appeal and Chelsea buying in January not sure how accurate these rumours are or how easy it will be to buy the right players in the January window.

But just as important perhaps more so is commuting our best young players to LNG term deals ie.

Billy Gilmour has signed a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge – and some Chelsea fans on Twitter are buzzing with the news on Thursday evening.

The Blues confirmed on their official website that the midfielder has penned a four-year deal and committed his future to the club.

After making his first-team debut just before the international break, the 18-year-old has now been rewarded with a fresh contract.

I believe the issue with CHO is he wants to lead the team out in every game wearing a crown and a flowing robe.

ah found it. Good one Blaze. CHO needs to come back to earth a little. Yet to set the world onfire and, at the moment, Mason Mount is the one impressing all and sundry.
