This loss of points i blame on DM,when we took the lead after 77min,we went to defend our lead, which ALBION are not good at all,we should still have attacked them, instead we gave Brentford all the iniative, poor management by DM.We should have been 3or 4 up at half time, but when we meet poorer teams(no offence)we always seems to miss out all the points.MOM Phillips.Norway baggie

We lost the points Geir because of the woeful performance of our so called strikers. Three up at half time and it was game over. However I remain distinctly unimpressed with DM. Yet again an unchanged team with our most natural goal scorer on the bench – this is not tactical genius just laziness and with a really tough fixture in just four days time he leaves them all on the pitch (bar an injured HRK) for the whole of the match. Morrisons legs had pretty much gone after an hour which is why he was 30 yards away from marking down the cross which was headed home. Moore has not the slightest nous about using substitutes to affect the game and therefore prefers to make no changes unless essential and when fresh legs are required as last night why have a bench packed with old men?

As it is we go into Fridays match very downbeat and its odds on that the same eleven will trot out tired or not. He will have a lot to answer for if we get stuffed.

The over-riding feeling at the end was one of disappointment that we’d tossed two easy home points away. One conclusion we can draw from this match
is that yet again we have kept only one clean sheet all season and teams who can’t prevent ANY opposition from scoring don’t win promotion. As others have noted, e should have won it by half-time. When we hadn’t but scored after 75 minutes in a much more even second-half, we should have thanked our lucky stars and made the changes to see the game out. This is basic game management that all successful teams have to master. That’s DM’s next lesson. Also I think J Rod should give way to Gail if DM thinks HRK has qualities that keep him in the team. I would suggest 4-5-1 against Villa
with Livermore or Mirrison as a holding midfielder.
