I’ll risk it for a biscuit with a thread that could very easily descend in chaos!
Top three teams you love to watch losing, in order! 🙂
1) YooUtd: After watching Fergie clean up for decades and listen to all the “we’re the biggest team in the world” stuff from the fans, my favourite team to watch lose! Now you have my least favourite manager at the helm, the pleasure is even greater!
2) Chelsea: At least YooUtd “earned their money on the pitch”… Chelsea just bought their way to the top (fair enough!) and then helped pull up the draw bridge behind (not so fair enough!). And they have “Captain, Leader, Bellend”… quite possibly my least favourite player of all time… almost feel sorry for ’em these days!
3) The Goonies: I know, I know, historically I’m not supposed to have much love for them (and I don’t!) but to me these days, there a bit like that smelly incontinent Auntie you see in the corners of Weddings. Always the Bridesmaids but never the Bride…mainly make the numbers up without much threat at the end of the day…
January 26, 2017 at 12:49 pm #1423227banjo – Let the chaos begin by me asking why on earth you would feel sorry for a club that has won 4 PL’s, 1 CL, and I cannot even remember how many FA and League Cups in the last 15 years, and are eight points clear at the top of the PL right now? No sympathy required mate!
Without doubt the top three clubs I enjoy watching losing are Sp*rs, for long term historical reasons, Liverpool for more recent historical reasons, and Arsenal,….well, just because!
January 26, 2017 at 1:10 pm #1423246Arsenal, liverpool and a tie between spurs and utd for third.
January 26, 2017 at 1:12 pm #1423247Can I say all of em Liquids? Nothing better than seeing captain leader Legend, best goal scoring defender in Prem League history, lifting trophy after trophy after trophy…
January 26, 2017 at 1:13 pm #14232491) YooUtd: After watching Fergie clean up for decades and listen to all the “we’re the biggest team in the world” stuff from the fans, my favourite team to watch lose! Now you have my least favourite manager at the helm, the pleasure is even greater!
2) The Spuds: I know, I know, historically I’m not supposed to have much love for them (and I don’t!) but to me these days, there a bit like that smelly old Uncle that turns up at parties trying to be “young” and fit in with the kids while doing dad dancing and falling on his arse at the end or indeed by not minding the GAP 🙂
3) Chelsea: At least YooUtd “earned their money on the pitch”… Chelsea just bought their way to the top (fair enough!) and then helped pull up the draw bridge behind (not so fair enough!).
January 26, 2017 at 1:22 pm #1423253This season the top two are Brighton and Newcastle lol
Third, the team whose fans think the are ‘not arrogant, just better.’ lol I could go on but I have not time to write the essay, hahaha
January 26, 2017 at 1:24 pm #14232543) The Goonies: I know, I know, historically I’m not supposed to have much love for them (and I don’t!) but to me these days, there a bit like that smelly incontinent Auntie you see in the corners of Weddings. Always the Bridesmaids but never the Bride…mainly make the numbers up without much threat at the end of the day…
this made me laugh Banjo, if we’re the bridesmaid then you surely must be the bridesmaids date (who ate a dodgy lasagna and couldn’t even make the wedding)
January 26, 2017 at 1:43 pm #1423277welcome back Johhny
January 26, 2017 at 1:44 pm #1423279TTG or possible the third witness when only 2 are needed and asked and so they go home sad having turned up in their finery thinking they were in!
January 26, 2017 at 1:47 pm #14232841. Arsenal. They were a bunch of A-Grade thugs when the likes of Vieira, Keown, Lauren, Campbell, Wiltord, and the like were around and I have enjoyed their smooth transition into “bridesmaids”. Several mates of mine are Arsenal fans and I subscribe to Arsenal FanTV – always enjoy seeing the veins on Claude’s temple bulging with anger. If anyone on here hasn’t done, I suggest you visit the Arsenal page on this website after a loss – priceless stuff.
2. Liverpool. Watching their prolonged pain has always given me great joy. The Gerrard slip was poetic. Klopp is a good guy and a good man manager but I am not sure he has been given enough money and there are also doubts about his ability to adapt tactically. Great coach but I hope he fails.
3. Manchester City. Noisy neighbors. They aren’t as abrasive or cocky as they used to be (post Mansour) which means they are truly converted into a “big club” – I don’t like it.
4. West Ham. I don’t like West Ham.
5. Arsenal. A perfect week for me would have Arsenal play twice and lose twice. The fan reaction is always brilliant.
January 26, 2017 at 1:47 pm #1423285Banjo, obviously I’d swap your number 3 for the Tiny Totts and in fact put them at no.1 but I’m not sure how much of that is down to history and how much of it is down to how spectacularly you guys do it – sitting at the Emirates, last game of last season and listening to the score coming in from St James’ Park is firmly among my favourite all time football memories.
As for the other two, I agree word for word, which I now hate you for, because agreeing with a Spud about anything, at all, goes against everything I believe in. Now I need a long hot shower, which I can’t even have because I’m at work – damn you!
January 26, 2017 at 1:49 pm #1423287Liquidator.. typo on my part, did actually mean to put “almost feel sorry for them” on #3!
TopTopTit…. it’s not a comparison my cyber warrior, it’s all talk the talk and completely forget to walk the walk with your lads…. love those European Weddings, 16 years in a row you went to the party and nothing but a snog behind the DJ booth to show for it (with the fat bird too!) …like I meant to say, almost feel sorry for you lot)… “Delusions of Grandeur” I think it’s called!
January 26, 2017 at 1:59 pm #1423293now now Banjo, with a reply like that anyone would start to think i had got under your skin.
Well that fat bird well and truly turned you down this year didn’t she, you even borrowed your mates fancy house to wine and dine her but ended up shooting your load prematurely and she left out the back door whilst you were blow drying your trousers in the toilet lolz
January 26, 2017 at 2:06 pm #1423298Cheers Steveo, i spent the time away at my holiday home in the Caribbean. lol
Hatters, you picked Arsenal twice. You must really not like libraries, typical Man Utd fan, afraid of books, no imagination lol
January 26, 2017 at 2:10 pm #1423300It was affectionate, I love tits… 🙂
Anyway, you’re missing the point of the whole thread, bit like how the Wenger misses the point between 1st and 4th every year…
January 26, 2017 at 2:20 pm #14233081) arsenal – arsenal fan tv is the greatest thing when arsenal lose.
2) liverpool – gives a few hours without all the media raving about them. they soon find something to blow their loads over but those few hours are precious.
3) west ham – its just funny.January 26, 2017 at 2:32 pm #1423314utd

chelseaJanuary 26, 2017 at 3:00 pm #1423340@Johnny. There are three things I truly enjoy in this world: the loving embrace of a woman, a well tailored suit, and watching Arsenal fans react after a loss hehehehehe.
January 26, 2017 at 3:16 pm #14233451- Goons
2- Goons
3- GoonsDon’t have a problem with any other team or manager. Ironically enough I enjoyed the Goons until Wenger took over.
January 26, 2017 at 4:27 pm #14233801) Liverpool
2) Man City
3) Whoever Utd are playing…I would have had Leeds as 3rd but I can’t remember the last time they played a match significant enough to be worth getting excited about them losing it.
