I think the resurgence of Liverpool has caused a shift in the City/Utd relationship. Players and backroom staff and fans have adopted the ‘enemy of my enemy is my friend’. Lampard became arrogant recently and deserve the sack so soon. After spending 250+ millions, Chelsea play atrocious football. They never improve from the errors and mistakes from last season. Lampard has no plan b. When they are losing all he does is just stands on the touchline, arms folded, looking up the clock every so often. One of the reason why Chelsea is so successful is because the owner is not afraid to make decisions, he is ruthless.
