Blacky I agree on De Gea but Happy does have a point. 10 years now isn’t it since Fergie left? Over a billion spent on players and what do we have to show for it? Weghorst coming off the bench, a Burnley reject on loan.

Of course mate, but he’s digging out an easy target like Weghorst without a single word about his mate DeGayer letting in yet another soft goal that a decent keeper would have saved, which ultimately cost us the game.
It’s what he always does mate, smoke and fucking mirrors!!🤣🤣

True, once you concede when up against it. It’s tough because you spend the game chasing and playing catch up.

Weghorst is probably the worst striker we’ve had in 30 years. The person who approved the transfer should be shown the door.

How anyone thinks we could have gone half a season with him needs his head examined. Too many idiots who don’t have a clue at the club.

@scholsey – You’d have to put that one down to Ten Hag mate, that’s what worries me about his judgement of a player, as we have already seen with Anthony.
Now I see the links to Timber have started again, but people like Jaap Stan are saying it would be a bad move.

@blacky, if he was ETH then every future target he proposes should be questioned prior to us making an offer.

More importantly we need a director of football, one who has previously been successful, to oversee any player he wants and determine if they fit in with our long term plan. We’ve spent enough on unsuitable players it’s time for a change.

Timber at the cup final y’day, apparently. A jack of a full back and a centre back but very much a master of neither from what I’ve seen. Doesn’t have the guile and finesse for the former or the aggression and size for the latter. Would be a bad buy so hope we avoid.
