Good start to management for Zidane, only in the job a year and a half and already won the Champions League twice?!

Great 2 years for Real, getting rid of Rafa was a masterstroke.

English clubs are light years behind those two finalists. Best team won but how unnecessary by Ramos. The game was over, why get a fellow pro sent off like that. Utd vs Real in the Super Cup then…wonder if Jose will take his A380 with….

    Nice to see juve lose

Pity to see Madrid win – especially with that big tart Ramos.

Juve the most dirty Italian and European team. Great losers in Europe. They beat us in 1985 because it was deicided to do it nad they won Ajax in 1996 at penalties!!

Real rode their luck and raised the question of whether, at the end of the day, when faced with a well organised resolute defence, it is better to ‘hit and hope’ in an attempt to introduce a new element to the proceedings.
The first Real goal went in through a deflection and the second was an incredible fluke so on this occasion the tactic certainly worked.
Having said that the Juve defence was less tight than usual and there were gaps in unusual places which Real exploited admirably.
Many Inter fans will be pleased to see Juve defeated as they would have equalled the record of league Cup and Champions League in one season.
I can never see the Juve shirt without thinking of that night many years ago when the Old Gold beat beat Juve at Molineux with a long range pile driver from the redoubtable Danny Hegan.
It is alleged the Wolves fans nicked a massive banner from the Juve faithful which was flying in the North bank at the next home game though I have no memory of it.
If I remember rightly there was a big centre half playing for Juve that night, indeed I think he was fined for spitting, called Fabio Cappello, wonder what happened to him?
