God Bless the Queen as the nation indeed the World says its final farewell and the Queen takes her Final journey to Windsor Castle.

    “God on high
    Hear my prayer
    In my need
    You have always been there
    Let her rest
    Heaven blessed.
    Bring her home
    Bring her home
    Bring her home.”

Just watched the funeral service 999. A little teary eyed at the moment. It was only 17 or 18 months ago that she had to lay her beloved Prince Phillip to rest. That was an extremely sad occasion accentuated by the fact only the closest to the late Prince could be there due to the impact of Covid. It was sort of comforting today to see Westminster Abbey full to the rafters and the streets of London lined with thousands and thousands of people wishing to pay their respect. RIP Queen Elizabeth 2. Never to be forgotten, forever loved, cherished and admired.

Just would like to send to fellow posters in UK on this Chelsea forum my condolences. National channels here in English & in French are broadcasting the funeral. But we have no holiday unfortunately.

67 and Aindro, nice thoughts and words fellas and thanks to both your countries for sending you Prime Ministers, service personnel and Royal Canadian Mounted Police to honour the Queen.

The Queen has been a constant in my life and my wife’s life as she has been for so many others and we’ll not see her like again my wife and I watched both services yesterday as well as the Queen’s final journey to Windsor and we both shed tears and felt totally drained at the end of it all goodness knows how King Charles and the rest of the Royal family must have felt.
