9 I agree re how Conte handled things, but then again maybe he did raise at board level and was getting nowhere so felt that going public was the best way to get a reaction from the board.

As I have said in numerous occasions as long as Chelsea FC continue to fail to support the first team coaches we will be seen as a cash cow
… take the job … get a fortune … get sacked …. get compensated … keep my reputation in tact …. move on

Rumours now surfacing about players being unhappy with Conte, his tactics, lack of preparation and as someone mentioned earlier his poor man management

Really do not understand why we as a Club are delaying what would appear to be inevitable…? KTBFFH

CM – There is far too much rumour and speculation and seeing as Chelsea (the board) very rarely say anything in public about anything then no one has any idea what has gone on or not

You can believe the paper hype if you wish, and I prefer to try and look for logical explanations so chances are we are always going to differ on certain subjects (and there is nothing wrong with that at all)

Personally, I have no issues with the managerial revolving door so long as Chelsea keep winning and remain successful. For that to happen the manager must be capable of motivating his team and actually believe in what he is doing. The impression I get from watching Conte at home games and on TV is that this is no longer the case and I believe that he is actively looking to get the sack. KTBFFH

Any new manager at any club will always ask about the transfer situation and what funds will be available. You see managers such as Coleman go to Sunderland knowing he has little or nothing and yet still accept the challenge

Whatever the situation is at Chelsea it will be made clear to the new man and I am sure he will get some funds and may have to generate more by moving some players on…? Regardless, we can still attract top managers and to remain competitive the board has to accept that the transfer fees will increase if we wish to stay in touch

BTW – I have not written a top 4 place of yet as both Spurs and Liverpool are both inconsistent as well which is why we need to make a decision this week (IMO) and we could still save a CL place. KTBFFH

Losing 3-0 and then 4-1 against those clubs reeks of an irreversable cancer from within which only seems to be taking hold and spreading. In a matter of weeks we have to play Barcelona, City and United in a short period of time. On current form we will concede half a dozen or more goals in each of those and be the laughing stock. Unfortunately something MUST be done immediately. That lot are simply awful right now. The vultures are hovering and ready to strike hard.

Agreed, 1967. The main lesson to learn from Mourinhos last season was that Roman left it too long to act, by which point the cancer was so deeply rooted into the team that things couldn’t be fixed.

Whether Conte is to blame, or if it’s the players or the board, we don’t know. But its as clear as day he is not going to turn things around, largely due to the fact that he looks like he can’t be bothered anymore. The club needs to act sooner this time, and he needs to go today.

Funny that rumours are circulating about players unrest whereas interviews with Cahill and Courtois (an interview being the thing where the words come out of the people’s mouths … in person) giving Conte their full support!!

1967 – totally agree. Apart from lacking any kind of leadership on the pitch or in the dressing room, it is still Conte’s responsibility to pick the team, prepare for the games and to motivate the players (as if they should need any considering they are professionals..?)

From what we can see we are getting nothing from Conte and so I actually wonder what training is like and the general atmosphere….?

I read today Real coming back for Hazard and this is purely down to the fact that we are struggling and seem to be in complete disarray – so makes complete sense if the story is true

IMO, the Club has no alternative but to get rid of Conte NOW and install someone before next Mondays game and try to instil confidence back into the squad as a whole. KTBFFH

I can’t imagine Conte taking charge against Westbrom. if we retain him, we will lose definitely as he won’t change his approach. his team selection is awful. if Chelsea Chelsea has any ambition, then Conte shouldn’t be the man to lead us. Also there are two Luis Enrique. the one who managed Roma and flopped. and the one that managed Barcelona. i can predict the one that Chelsea will get. and that is the Roma Luis Enrique. if we are appointing another clueless coach. then why are we sacking Conte? when you have MSN at your disposal life is very easy. measure his success with how he has done at Roma. and you will find what lie in store for us.

Just so everyone knows bbc (reliable) say conte will be given more time. Atleast until barca.
Tbf he deserves a bit more time but i cant see any changes in performance. The players arnt playing for him no matter what they say in the press

Maybe a truce will break out at the Bridge now, it would be nice to think there has been a very frank discussion between Conte and the Board or members of, where both admit their mistakes.

I agree Phwepsi no Crappyoko we stand a fair chance against West Brom

As for the rest of the season I would not give a flying fiddlers if we go out of the FA Cup and CL to Barca. Priority now is a top 3 finish to qualify for next seasons Champions League.

Hopefully by then we will have a proper DoF in place who will work with the first team coach on transfers. Being in the CL will help both attract quality and retain what good players we have.

Thats my heart talking, my head says Conte gets the sack in March, Maria continues to have final say in how much we spend and we finish 6th or 7th lose Kante, Dave, Hazard and Courtois in the summer.

Can’t wait till the summer who will replace the above NI mentions
    Hazard: keep pedro as replacement
    Courtois: Hart
    Kante: Wiltshire

    That should do us
    FFP achieved
    Stadium gets delayed

    Oh forgot the new manager
Well could be anyone with the salary on offer

Niblue. Those players can go except for Kante and Dave.

Good players on their day but destructive in the dressing room. Conte is dealing with the spoilt brats of the bridge again who between shocking form and lack of attitude are colliding again to destroy a manager and get him moved on.

Arsenal have had and are having a clear out. I suggest we do the same and hold any club to ransom who want hazard, luiz, willain, Pedro, bakayoko, giroud and tbo. Too many times were reading about our manager losing a dressing room. Get rid of that lot and save near 500 million. Build from the ground up and use the youth teams who are winning everything. Then use money you save on bringing in a few star names.

Bet we won’t hear anything about managers losing players going forward…

If you back conte you get rid of the overpaid crybabies we have pulling on the shirts. The players are a disgrace if they think fans will pay to watch that level of ineptitude as displayed in the last two games.

Cahill is spot on about players needing to look at themselves.

Stat of the day, conte has a better win ratio than pep in the league. Manager or players? Cheaper to sack a manager innit.

If the club decides to back Conte and gives him more time to turn things are around. then i think that will only benefit that club. it won’t do any harm. but if the club keeps silent and instead rumours spread that we are looking for a new coach to replace the current coach. it not only affects the coach, it also affects the players. we have seen clearly that how that rumours have affected us first hand. and last night was a classic example. be careful what you wish for. i have learnt alot in the last decade, and i won’t jump on the back of one manager because results are going wrongly for us.

Personally i think a huge disruptive player is luiz. Useless on the pitch. A poisonous influence off it.
We all know players rule the roost at chelsea and All players like luiz. Hes a really big problem imo

Bet he’s drooling at next set of players coming in the summer
