Fair enough Alfie. Your acknowledgement of West Ham’s ‘goodish’ performance is at least better than nothing. My point all along was that none of the remaining 3 or 4 club supporters who still post on here hardly ever give a complementary comment to any of the lower teams that occasionally have the good fortune beat them. They are never even no longer mentioned! I find that very sad indeed. It’s a bit sick.
I have never really given a shit either about what club is rated as tip-top and on the money. I only occasionally watch this vastly unfair overrated league to support the underdog whoever it may be. It’s far more fun.
I’m aware that your club has not had it too good for a very long time now and I can appreciate your fans obvious frustration. Liverpool and Man City have passed you by now but I have reason to suspect from the comments on here that many of your supporters still habitually think you’re a big club that remains with an outside chance of what would be nothing short of a miraculous miracle. In this case Alfie, I’m sorry to say I’m an atheist. I wouldn’t hold my breath for an upturn any time soon, but I suspect you know that already.
That said, I reckon Devon is still doing somersaults, and good luck to him!
Cheers, Lenny.
September 25, 2019 at 12:58 pm #1786030Alright Len, hope you enjoyed Sundays game as much as I did pal.I was confident of the win and had predicted it beforehand, and when I saw the man yoo line up I knew that as long as we played within ourselves then the win was there for the taking. The likes of Lindelöf, Young, Mata, Matic, Perriera, none of them would get anywhere near the Hammers first team. I have to agree with others on here though, we didn’t play very well at all, but then as they were so poor we didn’t need to. We have a run of games coming up now where we could pick up quite a few points and hopefully push further up the table. I don’t mind the odd nose bleed now and again mate. 😉
September 26, 2019 at 6:45 am #1786341confratulations to Oxford…what with them being underdogs and all …..;)
unlucky Devon!
September 26, 2019 at 6:52 am #1786344Not PL, but Rochdale deserve a mention. On the ropes for the majority of the match but deserved the standing ovation they got as the left the pitch.
Congrats to oxford and Colchester too, and any of the other giant killers.
September 26, 2019 at 9:01 am #1786380It wasn’t a case of being unlucky Steveo, more like piss poor and couldn’t be bothered. What a total embarrassment. Well done to Oxford.
September 27, 2019 at 2:19 am #1786611Is it just me or has someone else picked up on the look on Solksjaer’s face when under pressure? He looks like he has lust taken a deep whiff of someone else’s horrendously stinky fart.

September 28, 2019 at 7:05 pm #1787019Hey Devon, well done, enjoy your latest nose-bleed…
If the Hammers get any higher you’ll need oxygen!

October 1, 2019 at 1:06 am #1787541Chelsea would have beaten either United or Arsenal on their performances today. The future is bright the future is blue. (KTBFFH – CFC1905)
October 1, 2019 at 6:49 am #1787567Not a great match last night. Improved second half but the match lacked any real quality.
No idea how VAR decided the handball didn’t warrant a penalty, and not sure how the ref can blow up for offside and then go to VAR (as verified by Aubameyang). Surely you don’t whistle and then check VAR as players will play to the whistle.
Did enough to win but the lack of goals is worrying.
October 1, 2019 at 7:25 am #1787575I’ve given up on trying to understand what merits a penalty for handball now. You’re right though Alfie, Aubemayang did claim he thought the Referee whistled although Sky seemed to prove that the whistle came from the crowd and the re run appeared to show the Referee not putting the whistle to his mouth until after the goal was scored.
I’m equally mystafied as to why the Linesman flagged (wrongly in this case) because I thought Linesmen had been told not to flag for offsides and VAR would sort them out clearly seeing an offside flag could stop a defender playing.
Much better second half but given the flaws in all of the traditional top 4 sides it makes you wonder whether a team like Leicester might not gate crash the party this season.
October 1, 2019 at 7:27 am #1787577Nine, tv replay I saw showed the ref putting the whistle to his mouth before ball was in the net.
October 1, 2019 at 7:33 am #1787579Alfie, but the sound recording didn’t pick him up the Ref blowing until after the goal was scored whilst it did pick up a whistle when he hadn’t put the whistle to his mouth?
It’s a mystery mate but the Linesmen definitely shouldn’t be flagging for offside imo .
October 5, 2019 at 1:31 pm #1788997Spurs.
October 5, 2019 at 3:01 pm #1789022Brighton were excellent from start to finish today.
October 5, 2019 at 4:58 pm #1789061Massive win for Liverpool. Thought it would be a good show of how they will cope when Leicester equalised with ten minutes left, but Liverpool showed what they are made of by getting the winner deep in injury time.
Soft penalty though and crazy by Albrighton, should have just cleared it.
October 6, 2019 at 6:41 pm #1789402Congrats to Newcastle. More heart, better organised.
Utd cannot buy a goal at the moment.
October 6, 2019 at 7:40 pm #1789431Sacked in the morning, he’s getting sacked in the morning……. How much longer can man yoo stick with OGS? Anyone seen tma lately?
