Another 627 people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the UK have died, taking the total to 32,692.

The latest daily figure released by the Department of Health is for coronavirus-related fatalities in hospitals, care homes and the community, reported in a 24-hour period up to 5pm on Monday.” Sky News.

I don’t think we’re in a position to bring back any Sport at the level of deaths reported above.

Totally agree Nine. This season is over.
We desperately need something else to talk about on here.

Very sorry to hear about Little Richard. That boy kicked it all off.

League Two’s season has been brought to an early conclusion following discussions between clubs and the English Football League.

The final table will be decided using a points-per-game method, but promotion and relegation has yet to be finalised.

There are still plans for the play-offs to take place as usual, with two-legged semi-finals and then a final.

Meanwhile, teams in League One will have to meet again on Monday after failing to come to an agreement.

On Thursday, six third-tier clubs had said they were determined to complete their remaining fixtures.” BBC Football 15/05

    The SPFL call the season.

    Celtic Champions and Hearts relegated.

Poses the question who is right and who is wrong in the UK re this the SPFL or the PL.

I get the feeling that the SPFL would be restarting had they had a similar TV deal to the PL. It’s a money thing rather than a moral or health and safety issue.

People should remember that when they say the PL returning will give the country a boost as I am sure Scottish football fans enjoy their football as much as anyone else.

I agree Alfie different circumstances including a new SPL TV contract potentially starting at the beginning of August but you still wonder who has got it right and who has got it wrong. Time will tell.
