Three points and a clean sheet that was all,we did not play well and Sunderland was the better team.We look poor and for me it was schocking to see how bad we played.I would give credit to Myhill,Evans,McAley and Sess, the rest were poooooor.IMO Dawson was poor and he should be happy not to be sent off.Our midtfield was playing to deep and IMO McMannaman should start instead of McLean,i dont fancy McLean, think he is not good enough for this level.Berahino scored the goal, but that was all he did,Rondon is a good player, but a goal scorer no way,to me he is waste of money, another Ideye. We have to play mutch better against Norwich next weekend if we shall take points.Norway baggie

Sunderland were not the better team. We’d get 3/10 and they’d get 2/10! Evans and McAuley were untroubled, so that’s a another clean sheet with Yacob doing a sterling job in front on them. McLean worked his socks off, and it looked like TP has taught Sessegnon to get back when required too.

Have to agree with WBA68. Although McClean isn’t technically gifted he worked hard yesterday and linked up well with Brunt. His final passes could be improved though. I’ve watched videos of Rondon playing last season and he’s a good striker but he’s not getting any service cause we have no creative midfielder. In fact with Mozza missing I’d say we have little attacking flair in midfield. I wonder if Aguero or Costa would score many with the same service? Dawson had a bad day and had to be helped out by Sess on a couple of occasions. We have Sess, McManaman and Gnabry who are all quick and prepared to take on defenders so why are they getting little or no time? Do we need both Fletcher and Yacob when we’re at home to the lower half teams?
