The greatest coach the game has ever seen!! Stick him at the likes of Newcastle right now and see how he goes.January 17, 2022 at 3:20 am #2042418
WF you arte showing more restraint and positivity and have given credit where due and also giving Tuchel more time not that I believe he needs it. Don’t though buddy up too close to Moos and his philosophies because the tone of his posts referring to yourself as Wise Guy. Guess what!! He is taking the p-ss. Worry about yourself, not him. Believe me. Tuchel’s position as Manager of our club is as secure as ever. Not even a loss or two in the next weeks will change that. As you said he is employed with the intention to build his own dynasty. Yes it’s happened before with Frank and others before him BUT this guy has achieved massively with someone else’s squad and hasn’t even created his own squad as yet. He’s bought next to no one. He’s worked with what he was given. Pretty damned impressive in anybodys’ eyes.January 17, 2022 at 6:34 am #2042420
1967 please stop your regular attempt to gain brownie points at my cost from fellow posters, all I mentioned was that another couple of dropped points in particular to so called weaker clubs like Brighton, Newcastle, Leeds,Wolves, Burnley Everton, Watford, etc and Roman will start twisting the knife, why are you in denial when we all know the consequences of even a small failure at Chelsea? A draw is as good as a loss against the non top 6 clubs. There are many other questions besides dropping points, why do we spend big money on players we not sure off? Why send top bright talent on loan when we know they already better players than what we have currently in the squad, lots of selection questions as well, the whole world knew playing Alonso against a team like City was an insane decision and so it proved. Ziyech ahead of Mount or Harvetz was also madness. I support Tuchel and his achievements and hope he can turn it around, the very least he can do is try some new tactics/formation, stubbornness gets you nowhere.January 17, 2022 at 7:41 am #2042428
Moos, you conveniently forget that Tuchel’s options for left wing back are seriously constrained given the Chilwell injury until the end of the season.January 17, 2022 at 9:46 am #2042477
To create an accurate picture one needs to take all things into account 999 and unfortunately if the big picture doesn’t suit an agenda then people tend to forget pertinent points/significant issues hence the fact the best wing back combination in the Premier League missing due to injury somehow is irrelevant and therefore ignored. Yes we knew we were exposed against City minus those two and suffer accordingly. That doesn’t though reflect in where Tuchel stands as the Manager. well not to Moos or is it Mighty Moos?January 17, 2022 at 9:52 am #2042478
Who is the greatest coach the game has ever seen. Impossible to judge.
Reference to Tuchel not being sacked and people saying his job is save do they have contact with Roman? Did anyone see Carlo being sacked when we came second and played good football.
He is one of a select managers who have won the Champions League as a player and coach.
Who Saw Rudd being sacked. No manager lasts long at Chelsea, and therefore not given a chance to implement their style of football. As for transfers no one knows who decides who to buy. Roman has his favorites ie Marina, any else one else would have been sacked if they had let so many players let their contracts run down.January 17, 2022 at 9:59 am #2042482
All mere speculation. Anybody want to unload some hard earned on Tuchel being sacked by season’s end? I’ll take bets without a problem.
BTW Great to see you on here pajero. It’s been close on 12 months. Hope you and family are doing well mate.January 17, 2022 at 11:10 am #2042507
I still don’t see anyone calling for Tuchel’s sacking. It’s all made up by i don’t know who. He is a good coach who if given the right tools could lead the club to a league title. And i don’t hear anyone say he deserves to be sacked. Such decisions are taken far away from this forum and in the offices of Roman and Marina. But as a Chelsea fan, i don’t wish to see the club sack another manager, now that there are no alternatives. United has to settle for Ragnick, and i don’t want Chelsea suffer that kind of fate.
People often like to misinterperate what i personally post to just potray me negative. But throughout this discussion my message has been consistent.
If our best Wingbacks are out, why not change the formation and play to the strengths of the available players. Moving Sarr to the left back position and brining an extra middield to compete with City would have done some good in my books.
Anyway, let us stop digging posters for their opinion.January 17, 2022 at 1:17 pm #2042567
Yes welcome back pajero.January 17, 2022 at 1:50 pm #2042578
I believe now that we hit a jackpot by appointing Tuchel. It did not feel that way at that time as Lampard’s sacking was still hard to believe. A legend at Chelsea. But Tuchel steered us to 3rd finish last season as well as an FA Cup final and a Champions League title. And Chelsea were top of the table early December before covid and all injury disruptions. So yeah, I believe that Tuchel is the best person for the job and I have no doubt he will deliver. There’s a chance that next season will be Pep’s last season at City. We have to stick with Tuchel, be patient a bit more for the lack of good results recently.January 17, 2022 at 2:06 pm #2042589
Better not drop any more points in the near future lads or else Tuchel’s job may be in question. Right Moos?.January 17, 2022 at 2:26 pm #2042603
67, if Moos and one or two others want to speculate on Tuchel’s future just leave them to it mate.
I’m not sure too many on here or indeed the match going fans really believe Tuchel’s is actually under pressure for his job.
As WF suggests who would be a bona fide alternative anyway?
