Very tricky game playing Chelsea is always like a Cup Final for Fulham and they need the points as we do too!

What makes it even trickier is the Real Madrid game on the Wednesday where one of two players may need to be rested ahead of that.

Unfortunately Kovacic had a set back in training and won’t be fit for the Real Madrid game and Rudiger has a bit of an injury picked up v Real in the first leg that will keep out of the Fulham game although Tuchel thinks he’ll be ok for the Real game.

I expect Tuchel to go strong v Fulham because we need the points with fewest changes possible.🤞

We shouldn’t think about Real. This match is just as important. Rüdiger anyway played a lot, we need to rest him. I would like CHO to start, no idea what happened to him. He appeared a lot at the beginning with Tuchel, now he doesn’t. We need a proper striker here to match Fulham tough defense. I think it’s time to start Giroud.

    My team: Mendy – Azpi,Christensen,Zouma – CHO,Jorginho,Gilmour,Alonso – Werner, Giroud,Ziyech

    “We shouldn’t think about Real.”

Seems like your team Aindro reflects thinking about the Real game.😊

No Silva, Chilwell, Kante, and Pulasic and of course Rudiger I suspect all 5 will start v Real providing no further injury worries.

Freshness is important, nine. And Leicester dropped points. We are still a bit far from them but if we win tomorrow against Fulham, the gap will become only 2 points and we will still play against them later on.

Aindro, agreed on both points mate indeed should we win tomorrow 3rd place would be in our own hands but as you rightly say one game at a time and Fulham won’t be easy especially if we rest one or two as I think we will.

Saturday afternoon through to Wednesday night, both games at home. Go strongest in both games and sub off a few v Fulham if the match is won early. Cannot prioritise these two matches or risk losing both.

Sad to be pushing friendly little neighbor Fulham toward the trapdoor but those are the realities of professional football especially with the amount of money in the game these days. I really like Scott Parker so it is unfortunate that we are getting in their way of a late miraculous recovery.

Expect plenty of resistance from Fulham but we should have enough to win without too much heartache. Having said that I thought the same before the Albion game. 3-1 Chelsea.

    Kurt Zouma
    Reece James
    N’Golo Kante
    Jorginho

Don’t think that team is far off 67 although Tuchel seemed to hint Gilmour might play?

Too good for them. Havertz really starting to look the goods with two well taken goals and beautiful ball movement. Exciting times ahead.

I am impressed with Gilmour and I am afraid he would try to leave considering Jorginho, Kante and Kovacic all ahead of him. Havertz starts to be massive for us, I think we already can see that lately. Unfortunately we can’t say the same about Werner though his assist was really precise. But he lacks confidence, he cannot connect with the ball, his finishing is off. An important win for us, a clean sheet. Our backline is really good and Mendy was solid too in the 1st half.

Hopefully we can get a clean sheet against Madrid again in our next match.

Don’t think we should be too overconfident in all our remaining games, Fulham were a bit unlucky, Mendy made 3 crucial excellent saves plus they had more chances and 8 corners to our 1. But then again they had nothing to lose as relegation is unfortunately obvious for them. Tough choices for Tuchel to select the right starting side.

I don’t know what people expect the players are being asked to go above and beyond and have been playing a game every three days for weeks now often against very tough opposition and they’ve been back and forth to Spain twice too.

Fulham are fighting for their lives this game was sandwiched between both Real games and Tuchel made 5 changes too with the return game with Real in mind it was always going to be a difficult game given those circumstances credit to the team and Tuchel for coming through that unscathed.

I also can’t understand anyone criticising Werner based on his performance yesterday he gave 110% and always does he didn’t miss any chances and he had an assist for Harvertz second and we’re not as good a team when he doesn’t play.

Where we are now since Tuchel came in is incredible imo none of us could have anticipated it let’s try and enjoy it.

It may all end in tears but there’s a clear indication we are going in absolutely the right direction under Tuchel and promising times lie ahead.

Just a final word on Werner yes I know he’s missed chances he should have put away although not yesterday but he always gives 110% never lets his head go down always makes a contribution and next season I think we’ll see the best of him goalscoring wise too!

Good team performance despite the changes and Mendy proved what a good signing he was thanks to Big Pete. Wonderful performance by Mount AGAIN and Harvertz wasn’t that far behind him too.

Good allround performance, don’t think players can complain about tiredness or staleness cause Tuchel is rotating them regularly plus from what I can gather they all want to play every game. Squads are big nowadays, remember only a couple of decades ago you were allowed only 1 sub and a sheet squad of 12. If you fit you can play a game nearly every day after all they train every day. But let’s hope we can win something and end up in the top 4. Not easy I know.
