I see Tuchel says he will continue to rotate which I think is good as there’s not much to choose between the squad, they all seem to have good days and bad days, up to him to sort that out.

Tuchel knows his business and it shows. The instant turn around whilst in it’s infancy clearly shows that Frank was thrown in at the deep end in a job he is way too inexperienced to handle on all levels. Love the guy as the footballer he was and sincerely hope he picks himself up and does apprenticeship first for about another 5 seasons in the lower divisions. By then, if he has got what it takes we’ll see him back in the Premiership with a promoted club.

A few points about yesterdays game, a great improvement on the Wolves game though we did not really start to play until Azpilicueta scored.

Despite good performances yesterday I still don’t think Alonso, Jorgino and Hudson-Odoi (at wing-back) should be in the team in matches where our defence is likely to come under pressure as their defending is dubious. Where we have 70% possession no problem. Good to see Hudson-Odoi playing well, I think he has finally got over his injury, that has taken a time. Loftus-Cheek by comparison is still not fully recovered.

The collapse in confidence shown by Werner to me means he should not be in the team until he recovers, you can’t play in the premiership with a striker who seems to have his shoelaces tied together. I greatly hope form returns soon, maybe play him against Barnsley hoping he might find the net. I give Werner credit for not hiding, he is working his socks off.

I don’t understand why Tuchel took off our two best players on the day (Mount and Hudson-Odoi) when we were only leading by one goal – strange.

I think the Alonso badge kissing was to show that his problems were with Lampard, not the club.

I agree with the opinion that the backline with Alonso & CHO wouldn’t hold against tougher opponents. However, credit where it’s due: we played well yesterday. We did not give Burnley any chance. Our defense was solid. CHO played a really good football that reminded me why Bayern were interested in recruiting him. We also played quite well against Wolves. Things to improve: strikers, so obvious. And while Mount worked really hard defensively yesterday, I fail to see why posters are so laudatory on him. His shots were awful, he was caught hesitating several times when receiving passes. For me, it was a below par performance of Mount. He has to improve, otherwise I wouldn’t be surprised if Havertz would be preferred ahead of him.

Tuchel picks his teams based on the opposition so I don’t think its a problem. We will see, if we need more defensive minded players for any given game I think tuchel will adjust accordingly

Agreed luckydestiny. And this really is what was missing under Lampard. We kept playing the same strategy for any oppositions.

Agreed it’s too early to judge anything. Give Tuchel time to implement his idea and strategy.

Yes we should know by now a coach is only as good as his last game, Lampard himself did OK for over a year, so we will see how when the season ends, I’m basically hoping for that 4th place which in itself looks very tricky. And a good run in the CL.
