They’re into the final of the PL Cup after beating Fulham and registering some good scores along the way! SB was at the match so maybe he’ll give some a go against Barnsley. The likes of Fellows, Caleb Taylor, Ashworth and Castro should be given a chance along with TGH who’s already proven himself. Maybe Mo Faal up front. I won’t be holding my breath though!

Since their relegation was confirmed Barnsley have effectively given up
and are there for the taking. How refreshing it would be to see Fellows, Taylor, Castro, Ashworth and TGH replacing the tired and underperforming old pros. Come on, Steve, if not now, when? I don’t think Bruce will do it but here’s his chance to prove us all wrong.

Well Bruce didn’t do it. The tired old pros beat a non-motivated Barnsley in a match that proved nothing. And we learned little from the game that we didn’t know before and proved if proof were needed that the manager himself is one of the tired old pros. All right, he gave two youngsters some game time at the end. So what? The dynamic of the team remained the same, the shape of the team remained the same, the energy remained the same.
