3 wins, 15 goals scored and none conceded. Some cracking football played to boot. And the volume of posts from city fans drops -we are a miserable lot sometimes aren’t we 🙂

19 years ago we were drawing at home with Chesterfield in the 3rd tier. Enjoy the good times while they last I say, gawd knows there have been enough bad times over the years

I think there’s a built-in concern amongst City folk that we’ve been here before – as you allude to – and it usually ends in tears (or more properly disappointment, like 2016/17). It may also be that a number have given up on this site and are giving their views elsewhere, but only time will tell on that. Or maybe there’s a feeling that there’s nothing to moan about just now so what’s the point in trying…

Surrey – you mean typical City mate :-). I reckon you might be right that a fair number have now moved on, sad this site has turned the way it has but I guess the optimist in me still hopes it will turn around

But Yeah really good week i really cant believe how good Mendy is look at his crosses always a threat, really importent signing for us, kdb outstanding as Aguero with our New fullbacks we are going to se the real Pep style.

Given then lack of contributions over the last week I thought that there may have been something wrong with the City page. Good results in the past week. Defence still a bit suspect, Watford did have some good opportunities which a better team might have taken advantage. Good to see our new goalie was played in the game against Feyernoord. I guess Bravo will play against the Baggies whom I expect will put out a strong team. Be interesting to see who Pep selects.

By any measure, that was a good week. Media predictably well it was only…..played against 10 men…..two of goals offside….etc etc.. They concentrate so much on the negatives Did they not enjoy the match then?
There is a lack of posts now, the reason I do not know why but at times Teamtalk is also very negative and we never hear comment from an ED like we use to. The site appears to have gone to sleep. West Brom will put a good team out and they will want a win. I think Pep will bring in Gungdoghan, play Sterling and Sane, Bernadinho plus Foden and Diaz in squad. Kompany should be back and he may rest at least one of the Full backs, Bravo in goal….that is my feel of what he will do, probably do something entirely different

    Second string against West Brom?
    Bravo
    Kompany, Mangala, Tosin
    Rest? Not sure
He might play Delph, Foden, Gundogan, Sane, Sterling
    One half each Aguero, Jesus

    Any thoughts
