What a load of fucking bollocks, got the e-cig and an additional tank. Problem is the tanks only work via 70/30 and liquids I use are 50/50. Basically the liquid just leaks through all 4 air-holes, problem now is finding a tank for the liquids I use and with the same performance. The few drags I had, the taste and flavor is like nothing I ever tasted.

I had to check what my liquid is. 80% Vegetable Glycerin (VG), 20% Propylene Glycol (PG)

‘The few drags I had, the taste and flavor is like nothing I ever tasted.’

Do you mean in a good way?! Assume you do.

Yeah taste is epic, but day 2 and it’s not even coming on now. Have applied for a refund, be hard work as Smok are based in China and I brought it from them directly.

I am biased of course due to having such a brilliant experience, but you could do a lot worse than picking up a Uwell Nunchaku, although form factor and the amount of info on screen is down to personal taste.

In terms of vaping it’s by far the best device I’ve had. The tank is brilliant (and holds 5ml once you remove the plastic bit inside). Push fit coils and never ever leaked. Ever!

I saw that steveo, the main argument for vapors, will be that it happened in america, and the EU has stricter laws on what chemicals and quantities can be used. Although the last line should be of interest, Respiratory expert Dr Aaron Scott, of Birmingham University, has published a paper showing vaping has a similar effect to smoking. He said: “We only have evidence for short-term use. It’s definitely harmful.”

its all a little silly really, you can put shit into your lungs in anyway without causing some harm (even breathing normally around traffic and big cities!)

it MAY be less harmful than smoking but unlikely…even if it is, its still bad, still kills and is not needed to live! so any excuses made would be just that….hence im still bang on the fags! if your going to kill yourself at least do it right and own the fact 😉

In the US the people who have gotten sick or died have all been vaping illegal THC vapes. THC liquids are made using Butane Oil or Propane Oil instead of the vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol of nicotine vapes. The process of creating the Butane or Propane Oil can easily become contaminated, and that’s what appears to have happened in the US. It’s been illegal THC vapes contaminated with vitamin E that have caused the health problems.

I posted on this page ages ago and advised heartfelt-fully against this terrible dangerous idiotic habit. A bloke on here, who ironically called himself Ash, was obviously hooked and refuted any argument made against the pathetic habit. I hope for his sake he’s still breathing.
    If not, RIP…

    ‘..who ironically called himself Ash..’

That was actually my Mum and Dad’s choice. I was too young to have a say at the time.

Len, you are being a revisionist in saying ‘refuted any argument made’. I have always said that vaping is a huge unknown as far as health goes. At this present time based upon what’s known it would appear to be safer than smoking, and for people like myself who have chosen to use vaping to quit smoking, the majority consensus within the medical profession is that’s a good idea.

However, anyone thinking vaping is ‘safe’ is naïve, the same as anyone who drinks alcohol but doesn’t want to recognise how it harms vital organs.

Sorry for not responding earlier Ash. This page dropped down the list and was suddenly overtaken by an elongated ping-pong between Steveo and Dirty who discussed to death the pros and cons of Corbyn and Johnson somehow leading our country out of the shit. God help us all!

Hands up mate, I honestly didn’t realise your real name was Ash, otherwise perhaps I might have been a tad more discrete in our conversation, but nevertheless, you’ve got to admit, in the absence of that knowledge, my comments were not really that derogatory.

That said, I hope to God you’ve not developed a soft spot for Jo Swinson!

Good to see you back. Keep posting.
    Lenny.

No, not feeling (metaphorically or otherwise) Jo 🙂

I’m very happy that the result of the general election is a clear one. Hopefully we can now leave the division of leave/remain in the past and crack on with building a strong and united kingdom.
