Took a while to get the ball in the net, but I’m seeing progress compared to recent performances.
Nunez got on the ball more and contributed plenty to the build up play, which he’s been needing to do more of. Jota maybe should have had a goal or two on another day. Elliott did well, was always looking to get on the ball, and help us set up attacks. Tactically, I think he’s starting to get better in that role.
We spent less time pissing about, passing the ball around, in front of our own goal.
A lot of problems we’ve had lately seem to be getting addressed. Although we are still not quite looking like a cohesive unit.
