Liverpool have handed 16-year-old Ki-Jana Hoever a first-team jersey ahead of him potentially becoming the club’s youngest FA Cup player tonight.

Future star in the making? You never know

It’s a shame Matip and Gomez are injured, this would be the perfect time to rest VVD. I don’t know if Klopp is adventurous enough to do it, but I’d rest VVD anyway. Robbo definitely needs a rest.

I like most others couldn’t give a rat’s arse about the FA Cup. It would be nice to win a cup, there’s no denying that as any trophy is welcomed, but this is the first time in a long while where we have a genuine shot at the league title. It’s not like we’re giving up the FA Cup to chase 4th place, the league should be our number one priority, I’d even give up the Champions League to get that league title.

Difficult enough with a full strength team. I don’t think we’ll get through and I’m not sure if that’s such a bad thing

Premier League is our No. 1 priority this season, in fact in virtually every season.

However FA Cup is be useful for giving squad and youth players valuable playing time, and even to help some players to get up to speed for the league e.g. Keita, Sturridge, Origi

it would not surprise me to see a heavily rotated team, I seriously doubt the FA cup is high up on our wall of agendas this season.

At least I don’t see the point in playing our first team there, it will impact our form in the league no doubt and even if our B-team would get through this fixture I would continue to play them up to the final.

The FA Cup means nothing this year because of our current position but a defeat tonight is a set back as it stops momentum and two defeats in a row.

We have good enough fringe players to field a strong team and win the game

    Wolves will rest players aswell

    Starts for
    Migs
    Moreno
    Sturridge
    Shaquiri
    Keita
    Lalanna

Why should Wolves rest anyone? They are safe from relegation and would love a cup run

    Exactly…

Wolves need a cup run, they got a smaller squad and need to focus on this game, I would risk it and rotate as much as I could for this game.

Then play our strongest eleven in the league against them.

Most teams no matter were they are rest players example Leicester yesterday

I’m just going by the amount of changes teams made at weekend

Happy with the team playing tonight.

Looks like Fabinho at centre back, may be interesting partnered with lovren.

Hopefully we won’t need to bring on any of usual front three.

Fabinho at CB, so Van Dijk getting the rest that many have asked for.

Will be interesting to see how the debutants Camacho and Jones fare

Lallana out with a minor knock.
Wolves have basically gone full strength.

    No problem with that team

Wolves very strong. Goal keeper, Doherty abd one or two others rested but a very strong side

Bit unfair playing Camacho next to Lovren for his debut looking forward to see Jones play.

Very poor as we look all over the place at the back which is understandable but it looks like we’re playinf with two at the back. Moreno is just shite end of story. Camacho to high up the pitch

We need more from keita, sturridge and Shaquiri ffs. That’s dreadful from them
