I think that would be mouthwatering. Can & Hendo could learn a lot from playing alongside him & if Pirlo can play on to such a high level despite his age Xabi can do the same with his passing game. A bit like Molby & Barnes in his later years. They didn’t need to run too much. YNWA
I hate the face that some Liverpool players out there thought the grass is greener, and Steve McMamanan of all people disappointed me.
Xabi Alonso, well, he too was one of them, and now he wants to return;
I don’t know, but if he can knuckle down and simply add value, then why not.
I don’t think its a question of wants to return Nil. There will be competition for his signature. If he came back it would be for the love of the club.

Alonso will be 35 next year. Klopp is known for going for youth and I don’t think Gerrard or Alonso will be in his plan. Their days of playing for us are sadly over.
