I don’t care if this was Tufty Badge, we’ve won something. Winning creates winners and long may it continue.

Nice to win and the goals weren’t bad too, from Salah and Coutinho

Winning this pre-season trophy definitely means something, as it gives the players the winning habit and feeling.

And Salah has already began repaying his transfer fee, I’ve never seen that type of tricky goal before – a 1-2 finished off with a header.

Can’t wait for Salah, Coutinho and Mane to link up in full flow, will be a joy to behold, and a devastating combination of players

Good Performance against a Decent Leicester Team,Some positives to take away from it One being the Winning Mentality that has already been mentioned,Great Link up play at times involving Bobby,Couts and Salah and although he has been slated at times,I thought Karius did well between the sticks,Yes there was One occasion that He fluffed His lines but I would say Matip gave Him a shocking Ball to deal with,So all in all a satisfying trip to Asia and a Trophy to bring Home,Let’s hope We can keep it going through the Season.

One thing the really stood out is how well Salah is already linking with the others, looks like he could be a great buy.

I knew we’d win the PL with Klopp.

I wouldn’t put huge value in this win but you all make good points about the winning mentality. The lads went to a very enthusiastic environment and Salah is taking full advantage of his chance to settle into the team.

I will say one thing that irritates me though and that is how we’ve risked our early season fitness by prioritising money over a good location for training conditions and facilities. So as good as this tournament has been in ways, with great fans and good opposition to play against, it would be best to go to a less hot and humid place for preseason. Traveling to a place that is apparently in monsoon season, leaving the players unable to train properly some days is not on. Will this win matter if we aren’t fully match fit come the first game of the season and end up dropping points?

It was commented my a time that we looked the fittest team out there,so I can’t see it as an issue but I do agree with the issue you raise about these ‘premier’ tournaments.

Mak, this trip is just a wee, but important, part of their periodization schedule. Another month to go.
