A founding member of the Premier League, Norwich City came into being in 1902. Known as The Canaries or The Yellows, Norwich fans are able to boast that their song 'On the Ball City' is the world's oldest football song still in use today.
In recent years Norwich have become known as a yo-yo club given their frequent promotion to and relegation from the Premier League. The Canaries have in fact been relegated from the Premier League five times - more than any other team. Despite this, they have a proud record, with a highest-ever Premier League finish of third, back in 1993. They also won the League Cup in the 1984/85 season - a bittersweet year for them as despite winning silverware at Wembley, they were also relegated to the second division (along with Sunderland who they beat 1-0 in the League Cup final).
Currently managed by German Daniel Farke, their first manager from overseas, they have also been led by the likes of Paul Lambert - under whose guidance they won consecutive promotions - Nigel Worthington, Dave Stringer, Ken Brown and John Bond. Other familiar names in football management like Martin O'Neill, Chris Hughton, Bruce Rioch and Gary Megson have also spent time at the club's helm.
Norwich City is able to boast many great players on its roster with some of the best-remembered fan favourites including the likes of Darren Huckerby, Grant Holt, Wes Hoolahan, Dion Dublin, Bryan Gunn, Jeremy Goss and Chris Sutton.
Who owns Norwich City?
