Cristiano Ronaldo pleads with Real not to sign star striker

Cristiano Ronaldo is furious with Real Madrid’s plans to sign striker Robert Lewandowski from Bayern, according to a report.

Zinedine Zidane’s side sit ten points behind Barcelona in the LaLiga standings after just 12 league games played, and Florentino Perez is set to spring into action.

The Real president is reportedly readying an overhaul of his squad which could see Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema depart among others.

The club were linked with a €320million double swoop for Harry Kane and Dele Alli, and Don Balon claims that Perez believes Bayern Munich star Lewandowski is the answer to their scoring woes.

Reports on Friday hinted that the Poland international is even willing to take a pay cut to get his dream move to the Bernabeu.

However, Don Balon state that Ronaldo is furious with the potential signing, as he doesn’t want someone like Lewandowski to steal his limelight.

The Portugal international has made his feelings known to the Real hierarchy, but Zidane’s request to go after Lewandowski could mean a possible exit for Cristiano.
