Turkish giants Galatasaray have reportedly reignited their interest in signing Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
The Istanbul outfit have been linked with a move for the Belgium international all summer and are now ready to make an improved offer for the 29-year-old, according to a report on Turkish Football.
Fellaini has a year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford and the Red Devils are yet to table a contract extension for the former Everton midfielder, who Jose Mourinho only recently admitted he wanted to keep.
Galatasaray are said to have reached an agreement-in-principle last month for a four-year deal worth €4million per season with Fellaini’s representatives, along with a €4.5million sign-on bonus.
Indeed, the club’s sporting director Cenk Ergun has confirmed being in talks with Fellaini.
“There will be surprises, we are in talks with Fellaini,” Ergun told Turkish Football on Saturday.
Galatasaray are looking to add Fellaini to a growing list of names they have already brought in this summer including Sofiane Feghouli, Bafétimbi Gomis, Younes Belhanda, Maicon, Mariano and Badou Ndiaye.
