Juventus will step up their efforts to sign a €150m midfielder chased by Man Utd and Chelsea, a report claims.

According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Juve have turned to Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic again after being frustrated in their attempts to sign Adrien Rabiot from PSG and Paul Pogba from United.

The report suggests that the Serbia international could leave Lazio for around £89million with president Claudio Lotito under pressure.

Calciomercato’s report states that Lotito has set a deadline of August 1 for his summer business, meaning he would “shut up shop” should no deal be struck before then.

Il Messaggero claimed last week that the Red Devils have held talks with Lazio over a transfer for Milinkovic-Savic with a possible deal amounting to over £100million.

However, Calciomercato.com reports that interest in the 23-year-old has begun to fade out due to the €150m price tag imposed by Lazio president Claudio Lotito.

Now though, Juventus are back in for Milinkovic-Savic, and it is claimed he could leave the capital club for just £89m.
